Crazy to see how much your work has changed since 2016! The Sheperdess is one of my favorite albums of all times, with Oishii symphony and Girl's Love being a close runner up. I could definitely see your change in style when Magical Metamorphosis dropped, which I guess the title of the album really suits it. Enshrined is such a beautiful song and Arcadia Lovers is a such an upbeat and all-around solid bop.
When Crystal Cathedral and Void Walker came around I wasn't too fond of them at first, compared to your older style of soothing synths and pleasant Vocaloids, this style felt a lot more harsh... almost like a cacophony of noise.
But man, after listening to all of your albums over, and over, and over again I've realized that there really is method in that madness. Despite the change of style, every song and album still has a beautiful story to tell. I don't think I've heard any other EDM of this style that I've liked, yet alone loved. Thank you for producing so much wonderful music throughout the years and allowing all of your viewers to experience this beautiful journey with you.
Shepherdess is my favorite too. I honestly felt Crystal Cathedral was like a softer version of that style.
Even though I know my OG fans enjoy my softer stuff, I grew out of that phase and found excitement in more cinematic compositions. I can't go back to what I already know, I must continue to evolve and grow my sound to newer and more complex sound fonts. I hope you understand :)

Does anybody else have this intense emotional connection to this song? I listen to it at least once a week (trying to not overexpose myself to it). The music is beautiful, the singing is beautiful, and the lyrics... Man. This song gives me chills when I'm warm. It makes me cry, like an aural catharsis. It's a song I'll never forget. It's one of two songs that will live in my heart forever.

i connect deeply to it too. Idk what the lyrics are about but for me this song is the raw will to fight for you life in a life threatening situation, pulling through "the eye of the storm". Thats why it feels so pure and emotional to me.
@@munkelmaus8954 Exactly! "Refuse to surrender" hits me like a freight train every time. And that's one of the beautiful things about music, especially this song. It can be taken literally or metaphorically. I can imagine it being about an actual massive storm or, as you said, fighting through an awful situation. Though, the last couple lines do make it a bit more ominous, which... I guess, interpret it as you will.
The fact that this song isn't bigger really blows my mind. The composition of this song is just incredible. It's polished, mature, extremely well executed and above all; thoughtful. This is what the evolution of trance is currently peaking in.
I'm a bit aged and a great fan of trance music. Hearing this superb vocal trance piece popping out in 2020 brightens up my day. Definitely more than only one day.

I just recently discovered your music, I've been listening to Girl's Love for the past year and a half (Black Lotus being my favorite track from that) but am just in the last couple of months branching out to the rest of the discography. I think this one is probably my new favorite, though, on par with Black Lotus in terms of beauty, intensity, and emotional power. Keep up the great work!
