There are two things that I really admire about IM. Their sound design, of course, is amazing, but what really stands out among so many other artists it that they take the necessary time for their songs. They have no fear to include pauses in their songs. I think 5:19 is a perfect example of that. They take the time to take energy out of it, then insert in again in a very unique way. I think these kinda BPM changes / Rhythm changes are what makes IM so fucking brilliant. Amazing tune as always!
My only critique is the same with ALL psytrance, STOP PUTTING IN EXTRA MEASURES THAT FUCK UP DJ'S WHILE WE'RE TRYING TO DOUBLE DROP. But the sound design is enough to make me keep getting frustrated.
Same thing with the long buildup at the beginning of Liquid Smoke. You're not really sure what it's gonna come out as in the end, and then you hear the melody piece itself together and the beat come in, and all of a sudden it all makes sense and it's amazing

Honestly their music goes a lot further than psytrance. A lot of psytrance honestly is pretty reptitive and uninspired. They actually produce songs with hooks and groove. You can tell that other styles of music have made a huge influence in their productions and melded together to create this awesomeness.
And so begins the week of a duo which simply can't be beaten, infected mushroom and and psytrance. Might I say this is one of my most anticipated LP's of the year and damn I am enjoying this so far, yet again infected mushroom just delivers with their signature crazy mixes and the incredible sound design and that's to say the least about their skill. It's just wonderful to see infected mushroom having such a role on Monstercat and to put it bluntly there aren't many other big name artists which I believe would serve a better place in the community than these guys. Here's hoping the whole LP deliver's as well as what we've been given.

Got a pair of good headphones, put them on, sat back, and hit play. And I got taken away. Headphones are important - the left and right channels are not the same. The music moves, it twists and turns, it progresses. The buildup is wonderful. The break at 1:19 took my breath away. The synth that follows at 1:32 gives me chills. And by then I'm lost in it. The complexity is amazing, there's so much going on, and it just keeps going! It's an audio adventure
