One of the three objectives of the other Jamais Vu mission was to eliminate Jack Krauser.
For it was Jack Krauser who was the real mole, working for Skullface and the mastermind behind the destruction of Motherbase during the events of MGS V Ground Zeroes. It was he who set the military platform to explode, making emergency evacuation of all personnel impossible and it was HE who suggested to Huey to invite the UN Nuclear inspection team to said Motherbase. The revelations of this came too late; Krauser was already dead, killed by some guy named Leon, in 2004, a year before the events of MSG1 during the Shadow Moses Incident. Though his time on Motherbase in 1975 was short, Raiden built up a strong friendship with Kaz and Big Boss. With a sense of vengeance, the cyborg Ninja travels to the not so distant past once again, to the year 2004, several months before Leon arrives in Spain........
