I’m a big supporter of thrashin. Great quality and the smile your exhaust put on my face the first time I heard it, I’ll never forget that. That was a memory I shared with my mom, my life long best friend, who recently passed away to COVID. I found an FXR for sale of this same year, model, and paint job. If I am lucky enough to own it, I want to customize it slightly to honor my mom who loved Harleys.
Clean FXR. Well done. My dad just gave his '92. I grew up riding it when I was 16. Then it was customized in the late '90's. Maybe I will ride it over to you guys someday. BTW... we are practically neighbors. I've worked in the huge warehouse, just south of Thrashin, for the last 18+ years.
I have the exact same bike and color. Mine only has 30,000 miles on it. I ran my VIN and it comes back as a 1992 Low Rider FXRS. I wish mine had more power and twin front disc brakes. It would be cool if you'd do a review on how well the S&S 111 performs in the FXR. Thanks for the detailed description of the parts you have on your bike.
Love the stance of your FXR. Are you running 13.5” rear shocks with stock length tubes up front (not 2” over)? Trying to figure out what to do with my stock 94 FXR.
The motorcycle is beautiful. One of the best Harley Davidsons that have been manufactured and you have taken care of it in detail. I've always wondered what is the maximum speed of the FXR? A greeting!

Nice. The FXR are legendary. But are they has good has a late street Bob or Lowrider s. Both have the big stanchion forks and good brakes. I’ve never owned FXR. But I owned a 2000 super-glide sport. A heavily modified DYNA street Bob and a DYNA lower s. And I love DYNA s.
