I use a variety of different Sony cameras. I own the Sony A7RII and I've rented the ARIII, ARIV, SIII, FX3, and A1. This was shot at 4K 30 fps SLOG3, so any of the rented cameras give roughly the same image quality. The A1 has the best autofocus, but only slightly, and it subsamples the 4K, so it's actually softer than using the ASIII or FX3
The Sony A7RIII costs about $100 after shipping without insurance to rent for one weekend. If you use a discount code they give you 15% off (they have a variety of codes online for diff %). If you do 10 days, which includes two weekends, then it's closer to $175 after shipping. It gets cheaper the longer you rent typically. You would also need to rent a lens and memory card if you don't have them. I use lensrentals, but there are other sites. Oh yeah, the A7III is just as good for video and is about $85 for a weekend after shipping. You could also buy used. I've seen older Sonys go for $500 - $800. My A7RII has slow and sometimes unreliable autofocus with batteries that don't last very long, but it gets the job done and it's still working great even after being released 8 yrs ago
This is a 10v10 tournament hosted in Minnesota, US by the Twin Cities Wyverns team using the IMCF ruleset. I think Battle of Nations uses the HMB ruleset, so there are slight differences. The number of people on each team is also different (I think BOTN had 30v30 fights during some of their events)
