In places that seem a little unsafe, please keep your personal belongings such as cell phone and wallet in a safe and protected space and only take out objects when you see enough people around, the rest are welcome.

"people will ask you for money and stuff but not different than elsewher" You are right, we are not a rich country like the US, Canada or most countries in Europe, so there is too much poverty here, we also have many migrants from Venezuela as well. So for that reason you will find some people asking for money here

Those animals you call lamas (the name llamas sounds quite differently, like yamas) are NOT native nor common anywhere in Colombia, no matter what the altitude could be; they have been brought there to awe "turistas gringos" out of their money. Besides, the Pasaje RIvas, although old (about 130 years old), is far from being "the oldest" market place in Bogota. Keep in mind Bogota has continuously been there since 1538, (80 years before the first successful English colony in North America, Plymouth Colony, around 70 years before the failed Jamestown Colony or 57 years before Roanoke Colony). Just to give you some perspective, 5 years before Roanoke Colony, Bogota had already founded its first university, St Thomas Aquinas University (Universidad de Santo Tomás de Aquno), meaning 56 years before Harvard.

Thank you for the corrections!! Definitely good to know the truth after visiting these places. Hope you enjoyed the video besides that 🤗🙏
