I even have my wife watching your videos. We love that you are filming as you go showing the success and trouble shooting. I can really appreciate your energy to take on something so new to you. Keep it up. We are looking forward to the next episode. Who needs Netflix!!

I'd have called it good enough as well. Go make some parts with it now. Thanks for the update.

Nice work, think of the leak as feature 😊

She’s a squirter! You’re making great progress. I think the coolant getting pumped through the smaller holes in the tools will be probably at least 3 Or 400 psi.

Yea based on post filter its around 40 psi. Good enough for now :)

You can get upgraded coolant pumps on ebay if you want to run through coolant drills if you don’t mind the price.

What if you put sum washers in the back of the spring for the turret to make the spring stronger or install a stronger spring so it seals? The spring for my mazak is VERY strong!

deffo not factory pump, they supposed to have one of those which suck deep, the disc type or whatever it is. then it broke and they see how much it is and then decided that the one they have somewhere on the shelf is good enough. Seems to give a decent pressure through the turret tho

Any chance you are gonna do a video on the phase perfect converter? I am trying to fit a VF2ss in my garage

Would a softer material like Teflon work better to seal the leak?
Would a spin on hydraulic filter in line work to keep the coolant in top condition?

Only issue with another plastic is wear life. I'm sure there's a better material out there that would both be flexible enough to seal better, and be long lasting. I'm thinking I might get the same filter setup that I'm running on the vf2. Now that I am thinking about it though, it would be cool to have an easy off the shelf spin filter, like a hydraulic or oil filter... Hmmmmm.. Good idea.

A non leaking turret is not gonna happen. Ive never had a lathe that dident piss from more than one hole haha

Luckily other people have said the same thing, so I'm over it now :)
