Bravo👏.....a true stunner. I find Grand Seiko to be awe-inspiring. They're my favorite watchmaker/brand. Particularly, the "evolution 9 collection," w/ their "heritage collection" a close second. This example embodies everything that attracts me to the brand. The thermally blued second hand, w/ the capped pinion. Complex case finishing. A clean "no-nonsense" vertically brushed dial, w/ hands and indices that are so highly finished, and reflect light in such a way, that luminescent material, isn't even necessary for it to be legible in low light conditions. Just unparalleled, IMHO. Congratulations, and wear it in good health, Big Man. Cheers....
Wow. Steel stunner right there. Looking at this one or the black dial version the SBGR 309. Nice review. Nice GADA watch. Not a dress and not a sport, somewhere in the middle. Dress up or down. Perfect.
To my knowledge the smallest mechanical Grand Seiko currently produced is a 36.5 mm hand-wound. It's offered in a silver dial, pale pink dial, and a dark brown. They are all stunning!
Great review and great watch, I am looking at the 309 version…my wrist is 7.5in so should fit. Can I ask does it wear like a 42mm or more like a 40mm as I look at it, the bezel is in and not all the way out to the case which May May it wear smaller. What’s your opinion, how wide is the sapphire usually tells you how the Watch wears? Thanks 🙏
Your collection has the dress watches covered now. Beautiful watch. Congratulations
Thanks 🙏
Ah. This isn’t a dress watch. More a GADA. It can do both.
Beautiful watch

I have that watch. I bought it used and put it on a brown leather strap. Love it!
Good choice!
Gorgeous! What else can you say? This may be heretic but I like them better than Rolex.
Me too !

Very pretty watch. It's a big boy though definitely.

What about SBGR251?? I am planning to buy
How much does the watch weigh sized for your wrist?
Does this watch use the 9S case or the 41gs case, that’s usually used for limited editions? Anyone please help, thank you! :)
No covered center shaft, no applied index at 3 o'clock. They do this on purpose to make you want to spend more.
