San Miguel de Allende and Grutas Tolantongo S03 E12

We would like to take you to the town of #SanMiguelDeAllende in the #MexicanHighlands, founded in 1552 and now a #UNESCOWorldHeritage Site. We then drive on through the Mexican highlands and follow the signs to #GrutasTolantongo, from where we finally descend from here to 1,800 m above sea level - a winding road - to 1,300 m, where a turquoise #thermal river meanders through the landscape and feeds vertically stacked #ThermalPools, the so-called pozas thermales.
