Either the encoding of this video was at a low bit rate, or the camera just does not record at a high enough bit rate because I saw a huge amount of blocking especially on the scene from the canoe on the river. I was disappointed in what I saw.
Thanks for your comments. Part of the kayaking scene is low res as that was taken when we were getting to know the camera plus we wanted to show the full range. We try and use the camera at 4K whenever possible as lower rates can be affected by poor light thats true. Its good that it has those options. So easy to use and menu system is very easy. We love using it, you can mount easily, it switches on automatically and records leaving you to concentrate on your dive. Happy Days!
@@TheBiGScuba Thanks for explaining how the scene was shot. As a first impression not knowing that, it does not look very impressive - especially for the price, however, I have had a look around at some other videos taken with this camera and the underwater sections are really nice and sharp with no visible artifacting. I see also a new model is now out from them with further improvements.
