    Had to pause the video and say the part of you on the blue mat definitely give me a chuckle. I've never been to the Academy, but to IDS HQ and I know the feeling! Thanks for the content you're providing.

    There's nothing at all wrong with being a white belt. I've been a student and an instructor, and the white belt gives you a leg up on all the people who wouldn't get off the couch. Best of luck in your journey!

    You are so right!! I learned some 'tricks' (holds) to get Pts to comply, from PD buddies who studied Krav Maga, after transporting one who became combatant enroute. It led me to take Krav lessons that taught not only to deflect and subdue but also to not be stunned when (not if!) jumped but to protect myself immediately.
