Shayne's chemistry with Damien is always rightfully praised. As is his antagonistic dynamic with Saige. But his frenemy rivalry with Jackie is severely underated imo
Shayne is just such a big golden retriever he can vibe well with everyone. The bro dynamic of him and Damien, the sibling dynamic of him and Courtney, frenemy with Jackie and what I can only describe as Enemies to Friends (500k words) with Saige:
Facts, all of the new group (Tommy, Kimmy, Jackie, Saige) is just meshing so well with the old group and themselves. It's so awesome to see this considering where Smosh was a couple years ago.
Jackie quickly established who she was in this group and I love her chemistry with absolutely everyone.
THANK YOU. The Shayne and Jackie chemistry is insane, they play off of each other's humor so well.
Shayne and Saige were absolutely hilarious when they were just laughing from the "pee is stored in the balls" joke.

Not a fan, personally. I think The Chosen is a much funnier, better realized character that is both absurd but grounded enough in reality that he’s relatable. Everyone has encountered the sort of tryhard weeb warrior archetype at some point, if not been one themselves. That makes him much funnier to me. To each their own, though.

Love how they each have different strategies. Andromeda keeps a rhythm, risking speed. Chosen reacts quickly, risking brash decisions.
I would love to see Kimmy‘s and Tommy‘s character to band together to take down the Chosen as the ultimate villain team 😂 then Andromeda and he need to cooperate to defeat the evil. Let’s make that the whole new lore of the Chosen!
Complete with Remington falling for Orange County and proposing to her. Lex says yes (or strings him along), recognizing that she has finally found a sniveling creature who will fawn over her and acknowledge how awesome she is at his every waking moment.
Such a battle of prowess and power, unbelievable.

They start off as nemeses fighting against each other in several challenges.
Throughout the series they come to understand and relate.
By the end they are the strongest power combination the channel has ever know.
Then they become the challengers the Smosh Games fight against.
