Amazing video. Your small is BEAUTIFUL. So many beautiful projects were exchanged. Amazing talent out there. Beautiful ffo too! It was soooooo incredibly wonderful meeting you!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Loved seeing all of your stitching, Barb! It’s all so beautiful and the Long Dog and Carolyn Manning pieces are really inspirational. Stitch North sounds like a wonderful weekend. I hope to go some year. Thanks for sharing 💚xx
Enjoyed your video as usual. I have to say, regarding the 'upper left corner' habit, that I also mark mine with thread, safety pin, or something to identify it. And, I also quilt, so I mark my quilts also while under construction in the same upper left hand corner. It's like a compass that keeps me in the right position at all times. I guess we have something in common.....!! Loved your WIPS!! See you next time!!!
Thank you for sharing, I love your videos. I also watch Sarah and Pam. I agree with you about the needles, I can also see the difference. I learned that as a teenager, my Great Aunt was a tailoress. Sewing machine needles are the same but easier to tell because the back of the needle is flat. If you put it in the wrong way, your thread will break because the outward curve is sharper and will wear on your thread as it runs through the needle.
Love all your WIPs! You have lots of beautiful Carolyn Mannings, and I just started my first one recently. Her color choices are great, and all those little blocks of color are quite soothing to stitch.
Sounds like you had a great time at the retreats. How fun that the strawberry had a B on it. I’m getting into wool appliqué. It seems so much faster than stitching. Thanks for sharing the information on needles. Love your channel!
I'm sorry I didn't meet you at Stitch North. It was such a great experience! I didn't participate in the smalls exchange as it was my first stitching retreat and it was all a bit overwhelming. But your small projects are so fabulous - both what you made and what you received. Maybe I'll meet you next year?!?
Hello! Enjoyed your video and your great tips. I especially liked the tip with the corner pin. There seems to always be something to learn about needlework isn't there?
It was in Iron Mountain!! I’d never been there before! There is also a retreat in Lansing in November. I css as n give you more info if you are interested.
I'm so glad you liked the small, that's my first strawberry and probably my second traditional item. Lovely to meet you and I enjoyed your flosstube.

I just love the floss you’re stitching with on Act of God and Ink Circles. They are the prettiest hand dyed I’ve seen.
Thank you! I just love them both!!!

I will definitely be there next year! And I was overwhelmed by a lot of things at the retreat, too.
Love your progress pics, you've got lovely pieces. Isn't that trick with the needle wonderful? I was taught that many years ago and it really works!
Thank you! I had never heard that bit about the needle before!! It makes such a difference!

Hello, which weekend are you attending for StitchCon. My sister, Julie are attending B. We are both from Michigan.
I will be at weekend B!! I’m coming with a friend from Ann Arbor!!
Where was your Michigan retreat? I’m an ex-Michigander and might be interested in that retreat.
It was in Iron Mountain!! I’d never been there before! There is also a retreat in Lansing in November. I css as n give you more info if you are interested.
Love your video. Your WIPs are beautiful and thread choices are too. Can't wait to see your progress.❤🪡
@@brendab8681 Thank you!!
Iron mountain is way up there. My niece lives in Marquette, but that far from there. Landing would be better, but in November my mom is in Florida.
