I’m finding the push on reels a bit of a hassle. I understand that more frequent posts will gain followers and engagement more effectively, but if your ceiling is 2 posts a week what would you do? A reel and a carousel? Stories don’t get much engagement for me because I don’t have many followers (because I can’t spend loads of time on Instagram),
A video on what to do if you can only post a couple of times a week would be really useful- some people have health constraints or overly busy lives and just aren’t going to be able to prioritise Instagram.
All the youtubers giving Instagram advice seem to say that a regular schedule helps feed the algorithm. I’m not sure if they partly mean a frequent schedule though? Or does posting a reel at 6pm Wednesday and a post at 5pm Thursday each week, then nothing in between still count as a regular schedule for the algorithm? Does logging in briefly to write replies to other people’s posts help? Is Instagram logging our activity or our output?

Great video ... quick tip. I notice you always look at the view finder instead of the lens in your videos. Looking at the lens allows you to give us eye contact. Right now, it looks like you’re looking to the side when you are speaking in your videos. 🙂

I've been pushing reels like crazy for my business. But it's really annoying because I'll get 1200 views on one reel then my next reel will get 35...like this is happening often. I have made about 11 reels and four of them have over 1k views. The others are barely up to 100 views lol. It takes time to make them and quite frustrating if there is barely any reach
One one is guaranteed reel reach unfortunately! Keep at it, try to create similar content to the reels which are performing well for you

How should you differentiate your igtv from TH-cam videos ? Lol should I repost some of the same videos ? My goal is to do longer videos on TH-cam though.
IGTV's should be vertical! Your TH-cam vs IGTV strategy will be unique to you so it's hard for me to advise on this unfortunately!

Hey girl thanks so much for making these video! I’m trying to grow on all of my social media platforms. I’m currently trying to really grow on Instagram so these videos are really helpful. The problem with my Instagram is it’s like a personal accounts where I do travel beauty and fashion like a lifestyle Instagram but I feel like I’m not reaching the people I need to reach. I don’t know if I should just make a separate travel Instagram, a separate beauty and fashion Instagram, and just keep my one that I’ve had since like high school just like a personal one. I’m trying everything and I’m just not seeing the numbers grow. I only have like 1000 followers on the Instagram so I don’t know if you could just help me out!

My reach has been so low lately for my posts about 300-500 but for my reels, I get 30-70k reach but my posts are suffering so much and the hashtag reach isn't doing well either Idk what to do.
Review your content & check you aren't using any banned hashtags/breaking Instagram's rules!
@@JadeBeason i checked everything but still my reach hasn't been that good. I make edits so idk if its different from businesses?
I also have an IGTV comment: I feel like my IGTV videos are always performing MUCH worse than videos posted to my feed. I am a beauty account (makeup, mostly) and I never do long IGTVs, but I sometimes post longer tutorials on there (while on my feed I may post a short tutorial or a transformation that would be great for Reels, but...), and the views on these videos, which are like 1,5 - 3 minutes long typically, are always so much worse than on the same kind of content that is posted to feed. I get the point about telling a story when it comes to a 60-minute video, but 1,5 minute shouldn't be that different from 59 seconds, right? So, I feel like it's just Instagram cutting the reach, not people enjoying it less...
I literally cry now every time I hear how Reels are being pushed and should help small creators like me, except they won't, because Instagram will never launch them in Russia. And I have a 75% USA audience... I have one idea, though, I was wondering if that would be of any use: I have a second account, I could delete it from the app on my phone and only log into it on an Android emulator under a USA VPN. That should give me Reels on that account in a few days according to my previous testings. So, I could post Reels there linking my main account in the Reels' description - do you think that might work?.. At the same time, I won't be able to reply to the comments on the Reels quickly and stuff like that, but is it better than nothing or I still won't get any reach because I have no followers on that second account? Or will Instagram block them altogether?
I've never tried this before and it sounds like it would be against Instagram's guidelines. I would recommend checking this before doing anything to get in their bad books!
