Thank You for all these options! Will try and see if any help. Also, one comment stated opening the older text messages first then add what you are sending. That may be the fix for mine. All worth a try.
clearing the cache worked thanks for the many options best video on the subject.
None of this worked for me. I discovered later that i was creating a new text message without re-opening an older thread/conversation to the same person. That older thread had an unfinished and therefore unsent text sitting there. Deleting that, allowed the new text to be sent. There really should be a law against error messages that don't explain what causes them. The android menu's shown in the video don't match my version of android either. Perhaps someone should create an app that keeps all the menu options in the same places from release to release?
Thank you for your information
Thanks, but is not what I'm looking for. When I text a picture it sometimes does not get sent. I am not notified or alerted. If I go back to the failed message, I see a red minus sign next to the pic. How do I get alerted when this happens? My guess: not a feature.
Is it related to the size of the picture, guessing there maybe rules for sizing for send and receiving, so i googled it and found that your carrier is the one that limits the MMS file size, not your phone. For example, Verizon only allows images up to 1.2 MB and videos up to 3.5 MB, while T-Mobile has a 1 MB limit for sending (3 MB for receiving). A recipient's carrier can also limit the size. Larger, high-resolution images may cause the file size to exceed the recommended 300 KB, and carriers will reject the message if the image is too large.
@@redf7209 I understand, but when I notice a failed send, I just resend and it goes thru. Size is the same.
