Once again another great reaction! I must admit i'd never listened to Pendragon before so I thought i'd listen like you guys do, with my eyes closed, and it really is an epic tune. I met the band several times when they came in concert in Paris. They are very nice and close to their fans. We had beers together after the show !

Of all the reviews you have done of music I do not know, and have listened to for the first time, this is the most impressive. It's great and showcases so much talent. I will have to explore Pendragon some more. I grew up listening to Yes, Genesis (Peter Gabriel years), Pink Floyd etc, and although Pendragon are later, I wonder how I missed them. So thanks!
A great choice of band guys. Pendragon together with Marilion and IQ were the 3 bands I spent all my time watching live in the late 1980’s. They revitalised prog rock. Thanks so much for bringing a spotlight to them again.
I loved Fish-era Marillion (even met him once!) and the influence was there in this. How have I missed them??? 🤦
Pendragon, very under rated. I've been following them for years. Like a geek I have all their CD's in my car and switch them out. It definitely moves you through a sea of emotions!

Try Pendragon breaking the spell epic
The last gig I went to before all the venues closed (in the UK) was Pendragon at the beginning of March. I was pleased they played Indigo which is a tour de force live. They had a different drummer since the previous time I'd seen them - they seem to go through drummers! I'll have to hang on to memories of that show because it might be a long time before there are any more to go to. Until that day let's all stay safe and take care of each other.

Great one from an album I should (and will) listen to more... you should try more of Pendragon, should do Masquerade overture "the shadow" or "The king of the castle". Try Arena "The visitor" from the same "prog" family (Clive Nolan plays keys on both bands, the drummer is Mick Pointer, first drummer of Marillion, which you should try too) ;-)

YYNOT is a Rush tribute band. But last year they released an album of Rush inspired original music that I think you guys will dig. Hourglass kinda has a "Marathon" feel lyrically, while instrumentally it transitions from A Farewell To Kings era to Snakes and Arrows era and back again. Its truly amazing work. As far as the bass tone and playing goes, you would think Geddy Lee himself was playing on this album.

#Manowar The Warrior's Prayer/Blood of the Kings, NM. Brettila the Hun with Manowar number 2. Trust me, it is freaking awesome. Total anthem and homage to their fans. The lyrics are all places that love them, as well as the titles of their albums and songs.
New one on me. I love it on multiple levels: the music, the voice, and the name (Pendragon was the family name of King Arthur).

Pendragon wow !!! You guys should check Arena with The Visitor or Mystery with Another Day. Progressive rock/metal is such an amazing genre.
Oh yes anything from #Arena hard to pick a favourite but I'd suggest maybe Moviedrome superb track.

Moon Safari created some wonderful music. My favourite album of theirs is Blomljud and the track Ghost of Flowers Past is sublime.

#Ministry Thieves, NM. Brettila the Pest(?) 😉😉😉 Thieves is the quintessential Industrial track. It has all 5 elements: repetitive riffs, drum loops, mechanical noises, sound samples, and the best part, the vox. As a PSA, "For God's sake, do not listen to Ministry and drive!" Eventually you will be going so fast you will blow up. Oh, please listen to the album tracks of all of these songs I've suggested. I want you guys to experience the best, clear version.

#Manowar Black Wind Fire and Steel, NM. Brettila again. I know I said 2, but I am being a pain. Two more you'll love. This one has a 31 second scream at the end. Ri-God-damn-diculous! It is what metal is all about.
Cool! Though I would still say this isn't the best song to get introduced to Pendragon. This is more of their new sound. You should definitely give Masters of Illusion a try. Its the quintessential Pendragon track and you won't be disappointed.
Hadn’t kept up with the later work, but love me some more early #pendragon The Masquerade Overture album, Masters of illusion of course, or Paintbox.

There are many great songs to choose but I'd like to enjoy your reactions to #JoeSatriani Crystal Planet (Satchurated: Live In Montreal 2010) ..Ft.Lauderdale Fl This particular song reminds me of when I visited my brother in Upstate NY, I was so psyched,so enthralled I arrived at his house in a truly sick time frame,it would normally take me 1 hr /20 min...though, thanks to Joe Satriani and this song,I arrived in just 35 minutes! And miraculously, I never got pulled over! Probably because at the time I was still residing in NJ and would jump on 23 north and shoot straight through the Wanaque reservoir race through wooded roads and a haunted Clinton Rd. Back then cops never totally policed those certain areas as they were more in the busier wilder areas.Shortly after was my brother's road. He of course called me a certifiable brain-fucked nut job,oh the fun zaney days! The album came out in '98 but wanted you guys to experience this cool live set.. Enjoy!

Nick Barrett, Steve Rothery and David Gilmour are in the same level of mastery. PURE is a fantastic album. Pendragon and Marillion opened for each other when they started out. Freak Show is another great tune from PURE. Also this is four guys.

#Manowar The Demon's Whip NM. Brettila the Hun (yet) again. How much of a pest do I have to be to get through?! 🤔 I have tried it all. Messages talking about how you two would be instant friends with my wife and I, to funny remarks, to repeatedly making requests for 2 Manowar songs that you will think are 2 of the greatest songs ever, and 2 Ministry tracks to include Industrial Metal (my favorite band). I also told you about how I have lived with UNBELIEVABLE nerve pain since 2001 (My own imune system is destroying the myelin sheaths on my nerves.) and how I now have incurable cancer and don't know what kind of time I have.
I will make separate requests for the other 3 now. The other Manowar track is an intro and song. As befits the loudest band in the world, it is an intro unlike any other.

#Rage "Empty Hollow" Albany, NY th-cam.com/video/33QOMm4Lcd0/w-d-xo.html - I've listened to Rage for 25+ years and find them to be very talented. Victor Smolski, the guitarist at one point used to write the orchestral score himself. I've always enjoyed how, for a period, they wrote their songs with the orchestra in mind, rather than adding it as an afterthought. They started with the orchestra in 1996, and continued to perfect it as a performance for many years thereafter. I'd love to hear your thoughts once you listen to this piece.
