Freakier Friday: Lindsay Lohan & Jamie Lee Curtis on CAMEOS and Chad Michael Murray (Exclusive)

- Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis chat with ET's Nischelle Turner at Disney's D23 Expo about 'Freakier Friday,' which hits theaters in 2025. They share what fans of their 2003 body-swapping comedy, 'Freaky Friday,' can expect when the sequel picks back up with Anna and Tess more than 20 years later. While the pair play coy on who's switching with who this time around, they explain how the mother-daughter duo's dynamic has evolved after Lindsay and Jamie's characters became a mother and grandmother. Jamie also recalls the massive response that returning star Chad Michael Murray received at the table read, and teases the movie's surprise cameos.

I absolutely love this for Jamie and especially Lindsey. Its so nice to see a child star make it through and come out maybe a little broken, but overall still whole and sound and that was/is Lindsey. So happy to see her doing so well!

I remember watching their version of freaky Friday as a kid at my grandparents house on DVD and on Disney channel back in the day finally something that feels worthy of a sequel from Disney 😂😂

Lindsay looks great! I've seen all her movies most people don't know about (mostly went straight to dvd) so I'm so excited to be able to see her in a movie theatre again!
I KNOW! ME TOO. A lot of mediocre stuff to FINALLY GO BACK TO THE A-LIST. I kept saying, she just needs an A-List movie to bring her back, and it's this. The first one probably brought her there, as it is still the number 1 box office in her career, surprised it wasn't Mean Girls. But after Freakier Friday, she'll go back to A-List.

I love how much Jamie is praising her. She knows it’s hard for Lindsey to praise herself and Jamie wants the world to know how proud she is of Lindsey. It’s amazing how much she’s trying to build Lindsey and make her comfortable in a setting that’s probably hard for her due to her past. I absolutely love and adore Lindsey. She’s so beautiful. I’m so happy she figured it out. It’s hard, but she’s tough and deserves all the praise. Jamie is the ultimate “mom” for her. :’)

Finally Lindsay is getting to return to real big movies. She deserves this, she’s so talented and I’m thrilled this is finally happening again for her. This sequel should be great, their energy and chemistry is so natural and infectious together. I can’t wait to see the movie.

Even as a 8 year old kid I knew they had an amazing on screen chemistry and at the credits I was like “I hope they make another one” so I have been waiting 22 years (come August 2025) for this movie/picture can’t wait!!!!!
This is a film I will definitely be seeing, loved their first one so much. Lindsay and Jamie both look incredible, great to see Lindsay's life come full circle both professionally and privately
Glad Lindsay is doing better. As a film buff, while I am quite skeptical about sequels, I’m hoping that this one is good! Freaky Friday was definitely a childhood favourite film of mine so I’m interested to see what they do for Freakier Friday.

Growing up with Lindsay on screen im such a huge fan and just like Jaime everyone is so very proud of Lindsay and so very happy to see her comeback. SHe fought the darkness and she is back stronger and more sure of herself and with more purpose she is very inspiring.

I have been LIVING this Lindsay Lohan comeback I grew up with her since I was 3 Parent Trap remember at 5-6 being shocked it was her I thought she had a twin lol
I hope Lindsay gets better offers. I liked Freaky Friday but I don’t think a revival would work out with this story. Also, unfortunately, most of the time revivals only appeal to fans nostalgia and put little effort into the new storylines making them turn bad.
Nevertheless, I hope to see Lindsay getting other roles in many fresh productions for years to come. I’m glad she’s back 😊
