- This is one of two Vekoma Shockwave's out there- the other being a shorter, modified layout in China, making this one of the largest Vekoma coasters out there. It's the anchor attraction of Aqualantis, an Atlantis inspired area all the way in the back of Energylandia.

Love that for a first-time viewing, you think "Pfffffft, what's this low-budget family coaster tucked away in the corner of the park?" ... and then it turns around. 😂
The fact that this isn’t the headlining coaster says a lot about Energylandia

from what i’ve been told by friends who have been there, this is tamer than it looks and is more “family-thrill” than “thrill”

I mean yeah, a lot of quantity over quality. A few good coasters, but the theming is medicore, and no Flair at all. One visit and done. Dont need to come back that soon
Energy Landia is weird this definitely should be the headliner coaster considering that they think vekoma is the only manufacturer that exists.
This coaster looks amazing. Its interesting to me how the begining seems like the ending of a lot of coasters, and that second launch on seems like the start of most.
The first third of it is almost like working it's way up the first hill on a lot of coasters. After the second launch all hell breaks loose
What a fun layout. I wish more coasters did this instead of shooting their wad with the best elements all up front.

Omg. New gen vekoma has such a large jump in quality. They went from some random loopers to this beautiful ride. I believe they now have the potential to make a coaster better than velocicoaster.
This coaster looks a lot better than people give it credit for. Outside of theming this thing looks like a total package with forceful launches, good airtime moments, cool inversions, and a healthy amount of prime ride time.
I think it just gets overshadowed by Zadra and Hyperion which are world class.

I really liked that thing when I have ridden it last year. Obviously Zadra and Hyperion are even better but this is a really strong 3rd place in my opinion in that park
Looks like fun. Looks like some sections were built to hold water. I may be wrong. Regardless, new gen vekomas look great.

Got motion sickness from this one - Hyperion and Zadra were both fine but for wome reason one ride of this left ne feeling queasy. Don't know if anyone else had the same experience.

The brick walls and the buildings, water, and dips are the theming. But I can see where your coming from
EL added more theming after this was captured. Even the disco ride has more theming now.
