@thedude4672 Yeah, that was a Mickey Mouse move to show Tramp instead of Vito during a solo. Unprofessional and ignorant to do that to an amazing guitarist. I've heard Ted Nugent speak about this kind of thing before.
I couldn’t agree more. There was some awesome tapping going on but we missed it to watch a glam singer prance around. Get it? I’m witty like that. lol

At least it wasn't one of those ones where they just show the rhythm guitar player the whole time during the solo because they don't know which is which.

Vito was a one in a million genius guitarist. A real triple threat; great song writing skills, Sophisticated and unique solo's and amazing rhythm structures. He has it all right up there with his (and our) hero EVH himself. IMO this level of talent is off the charts, super rare, one of a kind. Vito, if you every decide to get back into the game, you have plenty of fans out there who remember and appreciate your many talents.

What caught me when I first heard White Lion and particularly Vito’s playing was a song about people in El Salvador and it had a long guitar solo as an intro. It was their first album which was really good but no one was really up on it. I heard it in pirate radio WSOU where they’d play the most obscure but classic beep album cuts. I also first heard Allan Holdsworth on that station. That being said, when this album and this single hit I was ready for what Vito was gonna come with and this solo really encapsulated his brilliance. It’s a mix of fusiony far left melodic but slithering melodies with an inventive not to Eddie but with enough of his own stank to not make it an outright bite off of Eddie. He’s so different that even in copying someone he still sound like himself.

I like mike tramp's voice, but je needs to come up with a new move or something and he sounds out of breath all the time. Lol. I remember vito saying he was ok as a vocalist, jokingly of course. To me vito was white Lion

The Pride album just came out and at the time they were playing at lamours east brooklyn their home town. I was a huge Van Halen fan at the time. I couldn’t believe my ears when vito bratta came out on stage he blew me away! They just announced that their Pride album went gold and they were at their best on stage that night. You could tell Vito was influenced big time by Eddie Van Halen but he was so melodic and at the same time very different from Eddie. The sounds that came out of guitar, the melodies, he was on another level! Just so enjoyable to watch! I will never forget white lion. I wish they would’ve stayed together longer

He got upset with 90s music and dropped out of the race. In an interview I read that he was taking care of his elderly mother. 🤷🏻♂️ Would love to see Vito blaze back onto the scene. He should get ahold of Nuno or something, can you imagine if they brought Vito on stage at a show out of nowhere?
