Adam, these are brilliant! I would love to see you put the transcripts in a book. As a teacher, I'm REALLY interested in looking at all of these and finding different styles for my students. There should be a book on these 12 different student styles based on astrology... because I think it would revolutionize how we teach, as much as how we parent. THANK YOU!

I used to ask my mom millions of questions a day, which were obviously followed up with questions on the validity of her responses :^)

Wow. Yes! I have Gemini sun, Venus, and Mercury as well as mercury being my chart ruler. And let me tell you, nothing makes me feel more love than when people ask me questions. It’s like being asked questions is my love language! It can be about anything, my preferences, thoughts, opinions, experiences, etc.

Sun/Mars in Gemini. Single mom was a reference librarian and we spent hours in a huge library. It was amazing! Also tennis, cards, other games and sports were big in our family. Highly recommend physical activity for the nervous energy and lots of info and experiences to keep that mind satisfied!

It might be because My mom is a virgo rising (so ruled by mercury)
I am a Gemini Moon native and she definitely did right thing by letting me do the 102737 things and even encourage them when I was a kid. I had SO many hobbies and she always let me explore it all. Boredom was not something I knew, I knew completely how to entertain myself with millions of ideas. I wrote whole screen plays, wrote a album, wrote a book, made a movie etc etc. as a kid, and it was completely loved and supported by both of my parents.
Also I LOVED learning. In school I always did the extra homework bc I was bored too easily with the ‚slow learning pace‘. Also in kindergarden I played the main role in a theater play and not only did I have my lines memorized, I freaking had the lines of the other kids memorized and whispered them to them if they forgot.
Also the millions of phases I went through as a teen. My parents just let me be and explore it all and go through it all myself and I am extremely thankful for that.
So here you go, kids can most definitely bloom if you encourage them in their own unique ways.

When my Gemini sun son was 7/8 years old he was the last child in his class to loose his baby teeth, he lost his first one at football training & his coach told me they had a warm up & then the rest of the session everyone was down on their hands & knees in the grasssearching for Jamie's tooth. As a first time mother I asked my son how much did the tooth fairy leave for his pals' first tooth & he replied "€10", wow I thought that's a big jump from a couple of pennys in my day, the very next morning Jamie pulled the note from under his pillow, kissed it, looked at me & said with a Cheshire grin "sucker" 😂
I love Gemini people. My best pal is a Gemini, two of my oldest friends are Geminis & whenever I'm in each of their company we have nothing but good times, I'm an Aquarius sun btw ❤

Haha,my son got £10 for loosing his first tooth too, I told him it was a special day and she must have known that he brushed his teeth every day. I didn't have any spare change so he got £10 😂 He was pulling more out and expected £10 everytime. I'm Aqua sun too! 😊

As a Gemini mom with a teen Gemini, whats been important lately is navigating emotions and compassion. The best part is definitely the mercurial nature of our conversations - she knows that 9 out of 10 times she won't win a debate, but she keeps challenging (with a twinkle in her eye). I'm happy for her when she does outmaneuver me in debate - but I also try to help her understand that some ppl don't enjoy that and its not always helpful lol.

I’m also a Gemini mom with a double Gemini daughter. We get along famously. We challenge each other, but also respect one another tremendously. She will be 21 soon, and I find her to be such an awesome person…it also helps she thinks just like me. 😎

One of my dearest friends is a Gemini sun and moon. He's become one of the most wonderful psychiatrists with his curiosity and friendliness and he still has the best laugh in my opinion that he had in adolescence when we first started being friends that used to make me wish he'd been my little brother from birth because he's so healing with that ridiculous little kid/old man laugh but he's also really a brilliant mind. His curiosity rivaled mine and then eclipsed it!

I love this series- this is helpful in dealing with adults as well. 💯 my Gemini sun Aries rising kid. When we used to have to read 3 books a night for school it would take hours because every page or even sentence in the book would make him think of something off topic and he would want to have a 10 minute dialog about whatever was sparking in his brain. Love that he's so mentally energetic, but I hated trying to get through those 3 books! I also learned not to try guiding him too much - he thrives on trying things - making mistakes and then course correcting himself - he really resents anyone stepping into his mental process!

I'd like to add to the romanticism notion that we're sentimental about our stuff. They're not just stuff for the sake of stuff, they actually mean something to us. We have a relationship with those things, with Venus being relational. My family is very Taurean so it's helping me connect with us more. We're definitely reflective of the points you made here ❤

I’m insatiably curious about everything and I’m baffled by incurious people who don’t want to read, look, see, dig and root around, examine stuff, etc. as a Scorpio Sun with Gemini Asc, I feel my true mission is to dive deep into the underworld and bring up the crud no one wants to look at and then tell everyone all about it. 😂. Gets me into a lot of trouble.

  • @bearrnabas
    @bearrnabas ปีที่แล้ว +1

As a Gemini Rising, I love my folks---but I wish they had known more of these. I think they got a couple of them just by watching me. But we still run into issues about me questioning things. My dad is a Southern Baptist preacher. You can understand how questions in that context would be only welcome to a point--if they led me down the preferred path and stopped. After that point, we aren't allowed to question... and yet, I couldn't stop. I needed to understand religion at a much deeper level and really own it for myself, instead of being handed "the truth" and asked not to question and to feel lucky I got to taste it at all.
I think in other subject areas, they supported my curiosity by buying me books to feed my hunger for knowledge (before internet). They didn't value me changing my mind, or arguing against them... and they sometimes grew exasperated with me "trying out" different ideas about myself, career ideas, majors! And of course, in our house, light and dark had very strong moral connotations... I wish my parents had asked me more questions. I wish they had wanted me to talk hypothetically, allowed me to follow rabbits and paths. I also see now the absence of emotional intelligence and listening as a kid and how I had to learn the hard way over my life to integrate those. My parents--and teachers and other adults always wanted me to Be Still, Be Quiet, Don't Ask So Many Questions, Don't Be So Dramatic, and to accept Because I Said So, or Because the Bible Said So. I just wanted to be treated like someone who had a brain too. Who had choice.
I also wonder, after hearing you talk about mutable signs, how many gender non-conforming or LGBTQ folx have heavy mutable sign placements or rising signs? As a gay man who only realized he was gay very late in life, the push for me to be a more Fixed Sign didn't allow me to discover who I was. Church teaching did most of the heavy work though--- barring me from ever investigating being gay; and the 70s and 80s did the other heavy lifting by making alternative paths and ideas just inaccessible.
Hearing you talk made me sort of long for "those parents" who were more aware of how to encourage me as a Gemini Rising kid. I don't fault my parents for doing the best they could---but I realize now how it might have been different, and I never thought there was another way they could have parented me. This one sounded so cool. Thank you for sharing that, Adam.

Have been waiting for this one! My amazing son (gem sun) with stationing Mercury is the case study for this placement. As an adult, he is still just as curious, diving deep in and out of so many things at once - listening to him now as he figures his way through life is still challenging and invigorating - ha! Engage, facilitate, allow and listen more than speak. And, yes, keep that stabilizing love home base. Thank you, Adam.

There’s an overemphasis in our culture-mostly because of capitalism’s broad shadow-on fidelity and focus. The gemini archetype gets excessive flack because we’re culturally afraid of the kind of openness Gems invite. But we need Mercury’s air energy. I have Venus in Gemini, and my friends often say I love with questions and curiosity. I love how you’re making visible the way Geminis care, relate, and love.

Gemini rising here. Excellent tips for working with Gemini energy, whether as a parent, partner, friend or colleague.
Also, I can't help but notice the ADHD qualities described in the Gemini archetype. I don't know if there is a larger correlation with Gemini and ADHD, but it is definitely true for me and my Gemini friends and family.

I listened to your cancer kids and had to come here due to my Sun Moon and Mercury is in Gemini Ty so much for your videos. These placements where my saving grace. With my Saturn in cancer, MARS jupiter and chiron in Aries. CARDINAL Cross with Libra replaced with Leo. Venus in Leo. These placement help me to figure out and be ok to shift and change with an ease i understand now that most dont have. I have been able to tranform so many horrible things. As a child i had all types of toys books and my mom encouraged me to dive in and i did. I realize i have a lot of masculine energy in my feminine body. But i finaly understand myself and see alot of gifts and strentgh.

As a Gemini Sun, “I think”, a lot 😂 My husband, an Aquarian has said, “ you should open a business that sells ideas!” 🤣
I am now in my 60’s and have learned the joy and art of listening too others and feel like that’s the path to learning more.
At 10 years old my mom gave me a book called, “The Family of Man”, it’s primarily black and white photographs that I formed relationships with, for hundreds of thousands of hours! Because they were speaking in expression I learned at an early age how to know or recognize emotions in people and myself. I’m a Pisces rising and Cancer moon, so emotion is very much a part of my signature as well. I really am grateful for that book, I still have it with it’s tattered pages of age and love. The other book that was such a great gift for my Gemini self was, Jonathan Livingston Seagull! I feel that these two books are so cool for the mercurial-mind at play!

I have found it a difficult energy to come to terms with.
    Can't pin myself down.
I see now how my Scorpio Mum and Aquarian/ Cap Dad being fixed were such a different set of roles models. They gave me many good traits of politeness and doing unto others etc, though.
Ps . I was born 18th June, on Grandma's Birthday.
(My Sun, mercury, venus, mars all in the 5th)
We would play card/ board games non stop :)

This video was confirmation in how I been intuitively parented my Gemini rising son. He’s 4 years old and he is always asking me questions. I say Zen, I don’t know. what do you think? Sometimes he answers me but other times he gets annoyed and say “mom why you asking me what I think about it. I find it hilarious when he catches on to me.
