But she kept on trying to hold onto that and wanted so badly for Kay to make progress in her life to the point she kept pushing more and more uncomfortable situations on her and the other personalities for the sake of normalcy. She kept being passive to these situations until eventually it led her to this very traumatic and very triggering situation. The Underground then blamed her for not doing her job correctly and keeping them all safe. The guilt eventually led her to the well where she killed herself.

Kata Kata There were warning signs all over the place before it led to this situation. Miranda wanted Kay to move forward and to a certain extent she did. But this guy who was her supposed boyfriend kept pushing and pushing for the “next step” and it ended in the worst imaginable way possible. The guy pushed for a massive orgy which was a violation of Kay’s comfort and I agree with Jane that all he wanted was sex. This wasn’t something he would have done to her if he cared. And Kay wasn’t ready for intimacy or sex and yet Miranda kept pushing for it and it ended up traumatizing them all in the end. These poor choices are why they needed a new primary who wouldn’t lead them down the same path.
Anyone else feel torn between Jane leaving and finding a relatively happy life and staying with The Doom Patrol, taking part in their efforts to save reality and also their inane shenanigans?! I I am, and I feel like there may not be a moderate compromise between the two fates...
basically miranda killed herself by jumping into the well and the 'daddy' persona came out of the well (the monster that represented him was sent back into the well in the first season) so I'm assuming he took on mirandas look (I'm not sure how it works with the personas appearance and how its decided). So miranda never left the well and it was instead her father who came out of the well and convinced them to throw baby doll and flaming katys bodies into the well. He then went on to get rid of Jane, Lucy Fugue and Scarlett whilst posing as the kind miranda so they would allow her to be primary after Jane kept taking drugs to mute the other personalities. Im assuming the reasoning is to get rid of all of Kays other personas so he could have Kay to himself

I'm sure others have some powers as well. Plus, why kill scarlet harlot? She has powers but none that could hurt him And will Jane find a way to get out of the well?
I was a huge Doom Patrol fan after Grant Morrison took over. Jane has always meant a lot to me and I was skeptical that ANYONE could even begin to properly pay her. I am so delighted they found someone who so perfectly can. I actually usually hate it when my favorite comics are adapted to screen, ESPECIALLY Vertigo titles. They aced the hell out of this one though
I mean I was in a media void for years so I never saw Diane Guerrero before this role. I am stunned that she can not only play Jane properly but also make it seem so effortless and natural. As I catch up on shit I missed over the years I am definitely prioritizing her work
