Look at the pain and struggle by him at 54:06, huge respect for him !!
Tim Brown What happend to him? I didn’t catch it.
Tim Brown This is olympic game, you get medal you golden for everything,Sportship, brother.
it's inspirational, it teaches you the limits of what we can endure and achieve
@@timbrown7039 it’s the olympics, you give it all you got bro

This decision in the snatch by the jury and referees was dismantled afterwards by everyone in the Olympic lifting world. Should not have been considered an attempt by the younger chinese athlete and therefore a 2 minute clock was correct. Can you imagine the controversy that could've caused?
Why did Lu Xiaojun have to pay for the referee's mistake or shall I say stupidity? And when they figured out what went wrong, why they still did not give him the right to compete in the game? It's totally unacceptable and disgraceful. I Have nothing to say about those corrupted and twisted minds.
Imagine Lu Xiaojun being your dad
Daddy Lu
1:14:45 Lu Xiaojun WR
23:14 The defending olympic champion with terrible injury. Ouch
He never gets his revenge because in 2016, he was suspended ten years because he violently fight a teammate in new year's day. Sic Gloria Transit Mundi.
so at paris 2024 he will qualify now?
@@juliannefabic-ang8297 they made it 10 years to force him into retirement i think, I mean he’s like 40 now or something
@@klydeflores7909 There are some teens who make it to Olympics as well as 40 Year Olds. Several can still peak in the 40s. We'll just have to see in 2 years time though

Best sport ever
我教练!我教练!
17:13 22:33 39:03 45:17
And 11 years later i can not understand whats in the mind of these so called referees...👎👎🇸🇻
Is that Colin Bryce? Lmao they really just picked someone tangentially related to fitness to commentate weightlifting
Why didn't they let Lu Xiaojun do his 3rd attempt on the snatch?
It was a mistake. He followed himself, he should've been given 2 minutes, but they only gave him 1 minute.
Very unfortunate for the South Korean lifter. If you're going to injure yourself in that way, having a gold medal already must be some consolation. His legacy is already permanent.
1:15:05 so wholesome
China's lifter does 204kg but white haired hired stooge tries to rush them off stage.
That's insane! I mean, that's nearly 510 lbs to control.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
No it’s 449 lbs lol nearly wouldn’t be exactly the correct word to use. Nearly would be if he had done 220kg
19:18 LOL
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
What an ending.
What I was thinking, so beautiful
stupid referees, speechless...
JC Tang They cannot do simple math.
Op
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
that was so close wasn't it
Why would they make the injured guy go again? He finished strong tho, much respect💪🏾
It's China, they value medal over everthing including the career of a new national champion at only 21 years of age, they are just inhumane.
Because it was 4 years of his life to get to that point without counting his coming up years, have to give a go , that wast lift instagram like was for change his whole life.
Not sure if the R2 bluray discs cover "olympic weightlifting"......
What is the lifting orders?
😍😍😍
Why does the female commentator talk the way she does? Excitement?
Yes. She does a good job :-)
shes annoying
@@S1K3CH1L4 you really think she does a good job? I'm sure she knows her stuff but her commentary seems very basic to me. The voice is a bit rough but it's not like she can control that. I guess some of the things she says would be good for someone with very little understanding of the sport.
@@thorish5033 yeah she always keeps it very eli5. As if everyone watching is new to the sport
@@danielhenderson762 and many people are...
Look Chinese athltic they look shorter not look very huge but they are very strong how
anyone noticed commentator is the same one in strongman?
Yes Colin Bryce. He's a fan of weightlifting and powerlifting too and has commentated on both for many years alongside strongman.
Powerlifting as well.
사재혁 부상만아니면 은메달은 땃겠네
How do announcers this bad make the Olympics?
This is the second stream i've watched from 2012 with this commentator getting one of the biggest names in weightlifting and pronouncing it wrong. How can you not do your research on such a basic level, absolutely painful to listen to.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
mikaela's commentary is so cringe
!
Op
Bad commentary voice. I hope this person does not show upp again. Sounds kinda female but really horse and bad tempo
And I don't like people who judge other people from different countries. Remember, everyone is different.
The only thing in the world I hate are people who are intolerant of other people's cultures.
Oh, and the Dutch...
Income of Indian weightlifter
Chino wong chino wong chino wong chino wong chino wong chino wong y el comentarista dive chino wong chino wong chno wong y chino wong.
The fat referees n jury members think that weightlifting is all about them. Most of them were very poor in the sport themselves but want to bask in the glory of being associated with the real athletes
I think this competition should not be recommended, so easy to get hurt!
Yeah, it can be easy to get injury from this. Today, I tried doing this, but my legs gave up on my when I came up at around 155 lbs or so.
Be shame to yourself.
Olympic weightlifting has one of the smallest injury to workout hour ratios.
???
There's 10 times more injuries for a football player than a weightlifter
Even a simple shoulder lateral raise can dislocate your shoulder if you do it wrong they train hard for years from young age they they have that body type and have worlds class doctors physiotherapy etc etc available
