I love the extra features you get by adding the navigation puck! But that also tells me that SOMEDAY, having that connection between the Minn Kota and the Humminbirds could happen! Love my KAYADILLAC regardless, best money I ever spent! Even over my boat!
My biggest issue is the weight, even taking every thing off and then loading in my truck it is a pain and I am not a little person. It has bent the crap out of my Malone cart. Otherwise I love it, a couple more mph would be nice, I would buy a drop in replacement/upgrade of like a 65-70 lb thrust motor.
Absolutely yes, I can't speak for that kayak because I don't have one, but if I did get a trolling motor yak that would be the one. I have had 2 Hobie pro anglers 12 now for total of 8yrs. I started with a used one. Fished it for 6.5 yrs then sold it for same price I bought it for. Then took that $ upgrading to pa12-360. So I have had Hobie pa12s for 8yrs now. Not that exspensive when u look at it like that
Does the spot lock really hold you in place? If it does then I would say it worth it. You get the opportunity to own a boat at less then a premium price of owning a boat. If speed is a problem just drop a 5hp motor in the back of the yak.
Aliex, that boat is worth the money. I Definitely would add a Torqeedo on the stern. I still think it's the best Kayak out there. I spray down my kayak, clean my mirage drive, and motor, electronics after every trip. I'd do the same with that. Great review, your input is always honest, and you are actually on these boats. Epic vids bro. 😎 🌊 🎣
@@AliexFolgueira Ham, lasagna, and allot of other food. My favorite holiday. Yeah, I’ll pay that money for that kayak I would pay more if it was able to bring it self out of the water, halls , itself up the ramp and puts itself back on the trailer that’s for sure lol
yea i keep getting sand/water in my front right connection plugin, it makes a zapping or frying sound and my motor turns off untill i unplug it and clean as much as possible out of it, any suggestions on getting the connection plugs fully clean easily?
If you want to get somewhere fast then buy a boat or jet ski. $4,000.00 seems expensive but if you look after the Yak it should easily last 10 years or more so over that time the cost is not that much. Lots of other leisure activities that are more expensive. Look at golf - You need to buy clubs, balls, shoes etc. pay green fees, hire a buggy.
You tested so many kayaks. If you don't mind to tell me the two pedal drives, is which two best stability and comfort from Old town or and 3 waters big fish kayaks of your opinions between those two kayaks 🤔. Between those two kayaks I'm not sure which be the best.
@@AliexFolgueira Thank you so much. I like looks of old town, and the colors orange and black. I'll save up money buy it! Soon at work will be lots of overtime, so I'll get old town!!!
I just got one and its seems slow. I'm getting 2.5mph with a 125ah Lithium battery. On 10 its maxing out at 2.5mph. I have a nucanoe unlimited with an XI3 on the front and it fast. You test a lot of Kayaks. Should it be this slow. I see people going 4mph. I'm 230 and 6ft tall. I guess its normal.
@@AliexFolgueira Yes I went to 10. One thing I failed to mention and actually forgot. I had a stringer of fish hanging over the side. 6 or 8 crappie. Maybe that caused some drag. I am going to try it again empty with just me. The motor seems fine running out of the water. I pulled the prop and it looks fine and sounds fine out of water. I'm using the same battery I used on my Xi3 unlimted kayak. Thank you for helping. Could a stringer of fish do that. Sounds like a silly question....lol

Everything you said is 100% correct based on my experience with it.
Did your wife get mad at you ? 😜
@@AliexFolgueira no. She knows if I do things I enjoy I’m nicer around the house. :)

Yes it does, the boat does turn with the current just like an anchor but you can add a power pole
@@AliexFolgueira works great in less than 4 knot current haha...some tidal spots around me run up to 6-7 knots

I always take a WD-40 haha
totally agree I own an unlimited with an xi3 and speed is one of my problems, kayaks are just not fast enough on bigger lakes.
Almost didn’t recognize the shaved face bro!!

Old town pdl drive is better, it has been around longer, it has a 5 years warranty

yeah, it is a luxury kayak for sure

Was current involved? Normal conditions you should get 3.8 to 4.1 mph with 250#s on or so. Test it again what battery did you try it on?
@@AliexFolgueira No current. Is a 125ah IONIC lithium. I was on a flat lake in the afternoon.
