Mine is doing a much worse shake (iPhone X) and I have had it replaced once already! This secong one is doing it as well! For $1000, this camera should NOT be shaky! Should I go to the Pixel?
So I just figured it out after a lot of researching. iPhones have OIS (optical Image Stabilisation) for every mode of recording as well as EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation) Which is what makes it butter smooth. However, 4K on 60fps does not have EIS supporting it which is why it ends up looking pretty shaky. Best thing to do is post edit the videos with a good software like Final Cut Pro/ After Effects to make it smooth!
Thorr Stevens Well, not too sure about AE, if that’s After Effects you’re talking about. I do use FCP, When you set the project setting as 4K it ends up being 4K of course, and stabilisation does work great too!

Sam Daniel Adventures, wouldn’t AE’s stabilisation cut off some of the video and therefore lose its 4K resolution?

60fps is able to show the shakes better.
