I have worked the oil field and Tow Boats there in Louisiana. The sad thing is that I never had time to fish or go crabbing that way. You guys look like your absolutely having the best of fun. And I know your eating super good. Enjoy the food and great family time. Show do like the videos.

Reminds me, in a different setting at the old Texaco "camp" near Cypremort Point. Used to work out there. I'd get off work, eat, showered and in bed by 6 pm. Wake up around midnight and go fish at the boat dock equipped with large lights. We caught lots of specks, quite a few big drum and redfish. Got to be friends with the galley hands who OK'd us putting the filets in the freezer till we went home.
Trout is such a good eating fish. Thanks for sharing your trip and family. God bless ya'll.

We definitely didn't have to go far from the house to catch a few fish. I've never actually tried crabbing that area before. I plan on going back soon to see if I can get a few crabs to boil. Appreciate you buddy! 🎣🎣🎣

That looked like a great day of fishing. Where did yall launch at? My husband is from Houma. He went fishing Soc a Lait in Grassy Lake caught 7 and a few catfish and bream.
It was a great day. We launch at the Houma fire station boat ramp. Thank you! I actually been out at the camp by lake Verret for almost a week.

Next time you go Red Snapper fishing put a 3" piece of banana on your hook and toss it gently over board then hand pull out some line to allow it to sink close to the bottom & you'll be catching Red Snappers

It was nice to catch those fish near our house. The weather hasn't been bad. Cool in the morning and warms up nice around lunch time. Winter fishing is usually really good around here. We usually have mild winters. You probably won't see me fishing once the temperature drops below 40 degrees. Thanks buddy! Take care on your end! 🎣🎣🎣
Laugh, 40°F is already here. Currently between 34°F and a maximum of 53°C. And it's getting even colder, 10°F, is not uncommon in winter.

Thanks so much for all your positive feedback. I'm sure you know us by now, we love anything to do with the outdoors. We gonna do more catch and cooks. Sometimes it doesn't always work out that way. I been at the houseboat for almost a week so hopefully I can put together a few camp videos soon. I live in Ohio. Have you ever heard of the Britney project in Franklin? My friend Bruce and his wife Sandra have a big show every year 3rd weekend of March to support the special needs. I have been to Houma for their car show. If you live in Louisiana and go hungry your probably just lazy
