Beyond beautiful. It's tough. It's classy and it's a beast big block ford I'm sure . My dream truck is this and all Ford's 1960 onward. Ford built strong trucks back then ,. Over build with military or Simalar running gear. Unstoppable as long as the gas tanks are full. Aggressive. She's ready to wheelie and looks menacing. . Wicked look to this. 10/10. . .
@@codyparker679 bologna. The new fords are a nightmare to work on. Mechanic friendly = longevity. Dodges are the easiest to work on still. And the engines are the best. Wont brag about the cab or the transmissions though. But in my opinion the engines outweigh the other negatives
In my opinion 1997 obs was the last the last truck ford made. Bought my 97 in 2001 and I have it to this day, in July it rolled past 300k. Not the prettiest thing to look at but it served me well!
What Exhaust/mufflers/headers (if Any). I see pipes coming out the back (Straight). I currently have a 77 High Boy with Hedman headers to direct bolt on glass packs and want to redo it due to tickets! Also is that a 351M or 460. Saw the other Video driving and that exhaust sounded even better....any help would be appreciated. Thanks Very Nice truck!
The definition of a highboy vs. lowboy is not the lift. It has to do with how the body sits on the frame. If you can see frame it's a highboy.if the body covers the frame it's a lowboy. Yours is for sure a lowboy
Don't see trucks like this very often. Now the have 30 inch rims and flat tread rubber band low profile tires and they look STUPID AS FK. When I was a teen in the 80s, these killers were everywhere. Oh, the good 'ol days.
77 1/2 was mated thru 79- 1980 then they went to the chain aluminum case junk with no pto plate older trucks 72 had the dana24 73 up 205 to 77 1/2 remote type but sadly the remote years only got the 44 front there was some HD 44 with bigger sealed knuckle and lockout hub but still junk low pinion drive drum brakes it didn't take much to break them 77 - 1/2 up they improve the front to the open knuckle disc brake 60 front with the high pinion reverse cut gear F350 and some 250 got these fronts the 250s that got these were listed as snow fighters anyone up North running a snow plow needed this option but the rear was the 60 with the 1- 1/16 shaft . The 350 you got the 70 rear 1-1/2 shaft sadly after 1980 some dumb fucken engineers at Ford came out with the twin traction beam hinge front in Dana 44 and 50 witch was total junk the 50 was a 44 center with a little bit larger u joint at the knuckles the 350 model 1980 through 1985 look real funny with big bail of hay in the bed and front wheels leaning way out under load and could barely stay on the road . 1985 the got there head out of there ass on the350 brought back the straight 60 front but the 250 and 150 got screwed with ttb front up til 99
Well Ford understood that most of the public just drove their trucks to Home Depot and loaded a couple 2X4's so developed the TTB for the nice ride. I abused the shit out of them and didn't break any. Oh, by the way the F250 was available with the Dana 60 in the highest GVW truck during the 70's. The 44 was standard and then a HD 44, next up, then the 60. Bad part of the trucks with the Dana 60's were the springs, might have well been wood blocks, they would have rode smoother.
That truck has potential with a little love and care she could be really nice....first thing get rid of that clutch pedal then a little paint and add some chrome bumpers....then hit that interior
I know even my old 1991 had better materials then my Newer 1999 FORD, i know the Gov.wants lighter trucks , but come on , whats next paper bodies on trucks ..??? NO please.
front leafs too short, shackle bent forward, should of fitted d60 h/p diff, raises prop shaft, tilt rear diff up 3",all helps, dont like the track arms.more show than 4x4.

Так красиво работает. классный голос
Please tell us where you got the rear link bars or ladder bars. Also the size wheels you are using. How wide are the wheels?

I Have a 1976 Ford F250 Highboy
How much was the lift
Why not put a ignition switch in it instead of butchering it with a push button? Other than that got a 75 highboy myself.
My dad had 2 79s w 44s
If you ever sell it please let me know please
You never see the highboys anymore i haven't seen one in years
What size are those Boggers?
Probably 38.5/15.5-16’s
what's the reason those trucks were called highboys

High boy is 67-77½ F-250 4x4 with a divorced t-case.

Cual la medida y marca de las ruedas?
Its a battle between the fords & duh..chevys..ah...WHO said that ?!
Add some flowmasters to give that exhaust a nice tone.
4.2 MPG. Oh yeah.
Ha ha yeah I was going to guess a little less....
Beautiful truck, too bad the owner red necked it out, shame.
The last real American trucks every thing on it screams America🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
