In this video I show you how I paint loose watercolour wildflowers, keeping it nice and simple for beginners, lots of wet in wet and spattering using just 3 colours. You could add more detail to this if you like, but I like how fresh and impressionistic it looks when kept simple!
My board is tilted at around 45 to 60 degrees so the water and paint flows nicely.
Materials:
Millford 100% cotton paper cold pressed 11" x 15"/28cm x 38cm
Prussian blue, lemon yellow and mineral violet, a mixture of brushes including calligraphy, riggers/lining brushes and bristle brushes, but use whichever brushes you prefer.
