what if the bed is at a fixed height? i. e. low. Do the same thing or is there another way?

If you can't change the bed height you do the best you can - and if you can't transfer safely - the patient stays in bed....Thanks for watching. Brenda and I have over 50 years of actual bedside hospice care and are still working full time! Please consider going to our website to thank us for the FREE videos at www.thecareplan.net and pick up our $5 booklet which will review how to manage ALL of the major symptoms that may arise. Care is treatment! Thanks again, Nancy

Caleb you are our number one fan. Can you spare five dollars to spend at our website? You need to read our booklet: the care plan: a path to comfort for the hospice patient. If you like the videos, I think the booklet would be also a value. Thank you for your continued support.

This is bad practice, keep doing this multiple times a day and you’ll have no back left

Well, you may have your own way and that's fine - there are many ways to skin a cat but we reviewed this with physical therapy. If you have 2 people , of course one would take legs and one t he torso. But I've been a nurse for 47 years(yikes!) and it always works for me - Thanks for your comment, Now consider going to our website: www.thecareplan.net and pick up our five dollar booklet which will review how to manage any major symptom that arises during care. Care is treatment exclamation! Best Wishes and Happy New Year, Nancy
