Ridge Fire | Northern California fire forces evacuations

A fast-burning brush fire near the border of Lake and Colusa counties has prompted nearby evacuations, officials said. The fire is burning near Walker Ridge Road and Highway 20 near the Lake-Colusa county border. As of 5:40 p.m., Cal Fire said at least 300 acres have burned. The Colusa County Sheriff's Office issued evacuation orders for Wilbur Hot Springs. You are lawfully required to leave immediately when evacuation orders are issued because of the threat to safety.
