Fantastic as always. Thanks. I notice your capo on the second fret. Do you just tune the 5th string up a tone, or do you have a little capo for the 5th string? Thanks for this channel.
+fret999 On this particular banjo, I have railroad spikes at frets 7, 9, and 10 to use as the capo for the 5th string. If you're just tuning up to A (as in this case), you can also just tune the 5th string up to pitch if you don't have anything to capo it with. Beyond that point I'd use a capo.
Model train railroad spikes. You get them at a hobbie shop not thetrain yard
Or you can make a 5th string capo out of a Bic pen cap.
