Hope your doing Great! And keeping well. I was just inquisitive to know whether you are going to share more qualitative information like this. your channel is underrated but in my opinion absolutely Splendid amongst the top channels.
Hello from the other side of the bay! what a beautiful echeverria! i have an Echeveria afterglow, im pretty sure the parent plant of this species is a Cante. ive noticed on my Afterglow the leaves have been drying from the tips just like how you explained. so im wondering if im not efficiently watering mine. And i hope your doing ok with all the smoke in the air! i know our areas have been very smoky latly to the point i think its been making my sun canopy spot too shaded this past week
Thanks for asking! It's certainly smoky and we're trying to stay indoors more, but not as bad as last time. Regarding the drying from the tips, you may try giving it a bit more water with good ventilation, but if that isn't it, you may see whether the issue stems from the root system. If the roots are not absorbing the water, additional watering won't resolve the issue.
Is there a reason you haven't cut the flower stalks? Or did you want to use the seeds? Thanks fornvideo by the way, that's a beautiful cante.. I have a tiny one, hoping for not to grow as big as this one day 💖
Oh, not a specific reason, I was just enjoying the blooming. After the video I did cut the flower stalks. They just used too much energy of the Cante. I was thinking of the seeds too, but I don't have another cante to pair with this one. And I searched online about the Cante hybrids. Unfortunately, at that time, I didn't have the right species to do the hybrids. 😅

How do use that fertilizer? Spray into soil?
Oh, this is a liquid fertilizer. I just press a few pumps into the soil.
