@@paulmosman6468 its a really good song. I was there at this concert and it was my first time hearing the song. I was really surprised I hadn't heard the song yet.
One of my favorite lines from the entire Mayer pantheon: Strange how clouds that look like mountains in the sky are next to mountains anyway. Some advice for the younger crowd in those lyrics too: Ooh today i finally overcame Tryna fit the world inside a picture frame. Head up, phone down, enjoy the experience. No amount of likes you get for a picture/video will count for more than you liking something happening in front of you, in real time, that you may have spent money to see.
Big reason he still sounds the same is because most of his songs don’t require overly strenuous work for his throat. That’s why when you go listen to a lot of the older rock bands from the 20+ years ago trying to perform their songs nowdays, they sound ROUGH. John Mayer doesn’t have that issue simply because his music doesn’t call for that force on the vocal chords.
Can’t believe he still performs this song 20 years later the way he does. One of my favorite songs from the album
For real just typed in 3x5 live... Wasn;t expecting a version in 22
Probably my favorite JM song and this version is different in the way he sings it and it sounds even better than the original

Great song
Definitely a signature song of his that almost everyone recognizes.
The guitar sounds the same. The voice sounds the same. Good job John. It's 2022, and he sounds like 2002. Room for squares 4 ever.
Continuum was my fav
He’s one the greatest performers of last decade
My fave JM album!!!! City Love is an underrated gem as well. But of course, you already know this!
im on fire into 3x5 is just legendary
This is so awesome. He should play this song live more often.
Such a beautiful song! I’m so glad he still has the passion to sing it and play it with the same original vibes.
You'll see around all the versions of 3x5. I just can't get enough of this song. Good thing there's a repeat button
Fukin God mode
Wish he would’ve played this at the concert I attended 😭
My absolute favorite
Thank you for posting
Almost wished the person recording put the phone down, maybe we would miss it in the TH-cam audience, but we’ll be with him next. Just no more 3x5
@ 4:49…. You’re killing me John with that note 🖤…
Gold mine!! awesome!!
Very cool
Always makes it his
Close your eyes and this sounds just like one of those bootlegs of his that was getting passed around in the early internet circa 2000
He could serenade me every day and I would not be upset!
Damm, i love john mayer. Can’t blame taylor or katye

😭wish I was there
What is the first song?
I’m On Fire. Springsteen cover. TH-cam doesn’t like labeling two artists and two songs.
What is he saying in that bridge? It sounds different from the album version and any other live version that I've ever heard.
