I don't even think it's sunk in yet for me. Ken was such a motorsport icon in my teens. Playing DiRT 2 and 3 in the future will be even more impactful in the future, especially with how much of Ken Block is clearly in the soul of those games
Wow, FINALLY someone who agrees with me on how great Dirt 3 is! I knew I subbed here for a reason 😎 Sad to hear about Ken, he was an amazing man, RIP 😔
DiRT3 is the best racing game ever made and i’m not even joking. FULL of content and the perfect blend of sim-cade. Oozes character and has amazing music ❤️
I also think Dirt 3 was just where the fun was but after I could no longer find anyone in multi player I gave up on it and have since then searched for another where the fun is. Your video makes want to reinstall D3 and live it all over again......Thx for that
If you've not seen it already, check out his Gymkhana video in San Francisco - i think it was when he first launched DC shoes. I watched that then the year after it we took a family holiday to San Fran, i was able to walk round most of the locations he'd shot that video in!
Ken Block's passing was all too sudden for me, I haven't fully come to terms with it yet honestly. I remember seeing the first few gymkhana videos (all the way up to the one in San Francisco) in my early teenage years and have played all the DiRT games featuring him, so I definitely knew who he was. The news definitely shocked me, rest in peace good sir :( I'll have to binge all of his gymkhana videos now. Also, I do believe gymkhana started off as simple time trial events set on open lots with cones marking the route and acting as obstacles, much like autocross but with more drifting and other advanced driving techniques involved. Genki's Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 featured gymkhana way before Ken Block and DiRT made the discipline as we know it today.
Sorry but I believe dirt rally 2.0 is the best dirt game ever I played three I guess I have to try it again I'm sure you're probably not wrong it's a good game but anyway I'm down with 2.0 but I'll try dirt three again thank you
In our DiRT Games Ranked video we had these two as our top two. Dirt Rally 2.0 is the best driving experience and the one I put the most time into, but with everything in perspective, I believe DiRT 3 is the best all round ‘game’ for the masses. Has aged of course, but still great fun to play!
@@TraxionGG I personally have slightly more love for DiRT 2, which was the game that first introduced me to Ken Block, and quite a few other big motorsport names
Try turning down some of the graphics if you haven't already, I think multisampling can be an issue at 8xQCSAA and changing it to 4xmsaa can fix some bugs. Also make sure you have the latest graphics drivers installed! Hopefully something works for you :)

See you again Ken Block.

Id love to see the dirt 3 community come back. I'm on right now trying to find a game online, did one race then disconnected. I miss these days
I'm gonna reinstall
Look for Driver X
@@solidstate565I will. 🙂
Look for Scustomnos07.
Ken was a awesome Rally Superstar, he improved his gymkhana skills, he serves it well.
RIP Block 🙏🏻👍🏻🙏🏻👍🏻

Ken Block passing but ken block lived on dirt games
I remember they released some DC shoes when this came out coloured like the fiesta , I had them and never worn them
i will full complete the game too
Enjoy!
Where i can buy this game? No longer available on steam
Why using the controller and not the wheel? 🤔
This game has the best handling in the arcade Dirt franchise. I hate Dirt 5 handling. The collisions are just weird

He said 'best DiRT game', not best DiRT Rally game...

I tried playing some but it the game kept crashing

@@TraxionGG thanks, I’ll figure it out. Old software issues
