Going through the videos before I found the Chanel and as you pulled up to collect the 140 I said to myself that’s the place you built the big lake last fall !!! :) Nice job on getting Chris out of trouble 👍👍
They finally have put tow points on big combines so guys weren’t pulling the back axle off,some of the farmers up here have tracks on combines 4 wheel drives,and grain carts but the last few years have been dry,not like a few years earlier,grain carts are a great help,means being able to harvest when trucks can’t go in the field.

The 6x6 needs a roll off application with dump body and tow recovery body haha. Farmer Chris just needs to pay you a retainer fee. Nice video. Stay safe

Most valuable lesson I learned was to travel the perimeter of every field every year. Cut back brush and trees improving edge row yields and saving equipment from branch damage and ... learning where all the new critter holes 🕳 and washouts are. I know everyone says they don’t have time but they find time to get into trouble.
Thank goodness you got her pulled out.... Wal-Mart was out of tortillas and tomorrow’s Fajita nite!!!! I drove a 6 row Gleaner when I was a teen. I never got it stuck. But, I did harvest about 20’ of barbed wire fence. The farmer got out a hammer, crow bar and wire cutters. After about an hour of choice language and field engineering he was able to finish the field with just 5 heads. I learned a valuable lesson... if you combine a fence, you get to spend the rest of the day cleaning out a hog barn! I’m glad the combine and everyone came out unscathed... Although, I’m pretty sure Farmer Chris’ pride got a scratch or two!

It's so interesting to see roads on TH-cam when you are familar woth the area. The intersection you were rolling up to at about 11:20 was where an air evac helicopter sat down to take me to a Louisville hospital back in 2008.
@@DirtPerfect, it sure wasn't at the time! As a pedestrian, I was hit by an out of control ATV. Suffered a broken femur, 4 broken ribs, 3 broken vertebrae, collapsed lung, and punctured spleen. Can't say enough good about the Perry County first responders, though. They had to load me in a pickup to haul me to the ambulance that then took me to the helicopter. A day I'll never forget, that's for sure.
Rainy day project. Weld boomer/speed binder pockets to the front of the trailer. Add flag pockets to the back of the trailer so you can use flags to help with backing up solo.
Another one for the books for Dirt Perfect Towing and Recovery! Those Yankum Ropes are nice, but I don't think they would suit you too well. I really don't think you can get the Volvo going quite fast enough to set the "snatch" into action.

My speed binders just came in yesterday. Can't wait to give them a whirl. They are gaining popularity and price simultaneously. When I first seen them they were like $79 and now they are $104. With dirt work, septic, ICF, towing & recovery, you tube and the store you should have a good chance at being mayor lol. 👍

Couple things I noticed...... You left your chains and binders laying loose on the deck. If I did that I would have lost something in the first 50 ft. You need to get another set of speed binders.
In couple of your more recent videos they indicated you had gotten quite a bit of rain. When you were riding shotgun in the combine, I saw a lot of dust coming off the corn, but he was also stuck in some mud. And I know you have said you film a lot, so that you have "vault" to draw from. I was curious as to the time frame of the harvest. Good video. Thank you sir.

From a class A CDL driver, I have seen multiple steering wheel holders that can't back up or heaven forbid have to blind side back with no where near the skills you have!!! Some would still be trying to back in when you have the job done and be reloaded and on the way out and stop to tell them to give up and go home!!!
Combines are tough machines but they are like a beached whale when they get stuck. Can't do anything for themselves. Have to be careful how you hook up to them too. I have seen the whole rear end pulled out of them before. You are a good man to drop everything and go help him. That is his paycheck out there in that field. Machine looked ok. I hope the only thing that got hurt was his pride...That 9770 is a good machine.
Great job! I don't think a kinetic rope would have been good to use in this situation. I'm afraid once the combine popped up it might of moved to far from the recoil of the rope? If it was just the tractor trying then yes all the way! But with you both pulling at different angles chains or cables gave you more control. Thanks for sharing! Ps I wish I had your supporting staff ! Good bunch of guys!

I have decided not to push the mean green recovery vehicle anymore but if you do build it as a dump truck how about leaving space for a HIAB Crane?
