    I have same characteristics of pitta dosha, i am quite competitive, good in maths, loves to think deeply, doing research. 😊 i am surprised how it is so accurate. I have learnt that eating mung sprouts and cucumber is very good for pacifying pitta

      Never heard pitta people are good in maths. Kapaha or vata people are good in maths or educational things. Pitta people are leaders, doers, not the academics as I have heard.

    Evening walks help to cool. Long hair helps me as well.🙏 Green plants and gardens help. I don't like beaches but forests do bring peace. Sushi could be good for Pitta.🙏 No hot yoga!! Sitting under full moon is lovely!

    This video was really helpful!
    I just found very odd when you spoke about the physical features of a Pitta person... I'm mixed/biracial... my parents are black and white. and I'm also brazilian so it means I'm latina.
    I fit perfectly in the Pitta category but my natural hair is CURLY and BLACK...
    With the Ayurveda practice having its roots in India... where people usually have a really tanned skin and dark hair I found very odd that your description of a Pitta person only shaped a white person.
    Maybe you should consider that you know? Include the ones who actually created this concept.
    But the video was very helpful, thank you for sharing!

      Oh thank you for the giggle Ilze! Yes, Bali can be quite warm and humid. However, we can always work with our unique dosha and our possible imbalances regardless of where we are. When traveling we can adjust our routine to support us with things like heat and humidity! I'd say, don't let that deter you from traveling somewhere if you feel called to go there.

    water doesnt neatly fir into pitta fixing cus it also increases it , consistancy also doenst fit into pitta balancing cuz pitta is made of consistantiants , mostly doing stuff increaces proportionaly pitta and taking into directions, balancing pitta may be a thing of the other substances thaat doenst involve itself into it, increacing your qualityes that are not in pittia is arguably good, balancing pitta may be increacing other faculty

    Hi. Can you please make a video on “Can Intermittent fasting help people with Pitta dosha?”

    • @catherineshaw1122
      @catherineshaw1122 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pittas need to eat regularly. Fasting is not a good idea for any dosha aside from kapha. Pittas who fast, end up with problems because without something to break down our acid becomes a problem. I say this from both years of experimenting as a pitta and studying Ayurveda for many years. Pitta needs at least 3 meals daily.

      Coffe is a no no for pitta group

    • @catherineshaw1122
      @catherineshaw1122 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Coffee increases acidity and heat in all doshas, so while it can benefit a kapha, it is a bad idea for a pitta. Adding cream, sugar and having it with a full stomach of food can help if you can't give it up.
