Alright MANEY PIGEON's that was great to see,it just show's U there starting to get stronger not them all yet but they well all come round, Kurt what if you were to separate the stronger birds off and let them out first and maybe if you let an extra 3r4 birds out with them they'll soon be all hitting that hour to an hour an a half every second or third day, it would be a slow start but I think they'd all come good, Kurt have you ever looked into pulling out flight feathers &tail feathers, I was never into it, but watching a video yesterday it can help the birds every well, but it has to done at certain time's but very interesting, great video extra long perfect, 🇨🇮 Dublin 🇨🇮
Then the falcon it will be easy for the falcon to find a target .other birds are going through moult thats why they are lazy once they are done moulting then will do one hour.

You don’t have better luck tossing? They will get super hawk smart and not hang around before hitting the trap, which is what they are already doing, but home flying they aren’t getting to fly long at all. The problem I think is the Falcons know you and your schedule…they are smart and have learned you and your birds . In Texas we have hawks and falcons all year. We have to fly so we do what we can…like toss at different times of the day from different places and train to trap fast.
yes i have hawks but the falcons here are the main problem, i have tried every time of day and different times & nothing works like you say they are very smart. only hope now is starting tossing early and shorter to offset the shorter loft flying times.
@@ManeyPigeons Falcons are worse than hawks, faster and smarter…all you can do is try to give your birds the best chances to get in the trap fast. When I say toss I mean take them to another release location…is that what you are meaning as well? Opening the door on the pen and letting them fly from home is a dinner bell to that old hen falcon. I toss mine from different locations and different times. The predators never know what direction they are coming from or the time they’ll be coming…my smartest birds make a half circle while dropping in, land on the trap and are in, in a few seconds. Birds that circle the loft or land on top of it get eaten usually.

yes i will be soon, i just want another 1-2 weeks to get the young group in with the larger & then i want extra 1-2 weeks for the moult, i should have another basket by then hopefully a much larger one!

Best kittel hen is always locked up, i think 83 will take a box in the breeding loft, recent falcons make me worry.
