Just because something affordable did good for you and something expensive worked bad for you or doesn't mean cheap products are bad or expensive products are bad . Also I'm not talking about any influencers at all . This person isn't trustworthy at all . She once mixed kojic acid , Aza , AA , tranexamic acid all together from different formulation for dark spot treatment which is not advisable at all . I've used my fair share of lip products, there are expensive good and bad products and then there's affordable good and bad products and then there's products which might not suit you in particular . And why should you buy a product after just watching a influencer without reading user reviews from multiple websites ? If you're letting yourself get fooled then don't go at others for fooling you .

Vaseline doesn't moisturize lips it's just sits upon the lips creating a barrier. It just locks whatever moisture your lips has but can never be a replacement of a good lip balm, boroline or ghee.❤

Vaseline never worked for me. It dried and blackened my lips over time. The ghee consistency just sits on the top layer of skin and doesn't penetrate to hydrate my lips. The same happened to my dad too. It's weird but i never understood the hype of Vaseline. I think it's a pretty mediocre product

Vaseline is great if your skin is already hydrated and moisturized. It'll prevent your skin from losing moisture. If your skin is dry, Vaseline just makes it shiny and greasy, and that's it.

I mean sure might work for some people. But Vaseline darkens the lips in the long run. I have seen many people i know personally face this problem. Boroline works fine for my family members but for me, it's a no no as i can neither stand the smell nor do i actually benefit from it. I have been using Nivea essential lip balm since eternity n have baby soft, n most importantly, pink lips. I would also suggest using a cotton pad with generous amount of rose water to remove the dead cells over the lips instead of using any lip scrub. Also the point to be noted is this method is to be used only an hour or two after applying the lip balm so that the lips are not chapped. Works magic trust me, no lines on the lips at all. Wonders for liquid lipstick lovers.
There is also an amazing alternative to lip balms and thats coconut oil. Nothing beats it. Also it can be used as lipstick as well as makeup remover with absolutely zero side effects and moisturizing after effect. Pretty effective for removing mascara as well.
I would suggest not using any micellar water or any such makeup removers on the lips, use rose water based ones, even pure rose water works well. N don't forget coconut oil, it's amazing.
All bodies are different so what worked for me might not work for all. But natural alternatives have no side effect n also convenient and inexpensive.

@@MsBurnitup Real life proof is considered as scientific proof if the causation of the side effects is linked to the substance. But there is no causality between the Vaseline and darkening of lips. You have to consider other factors such as spf application, licking of lips and other irritants. Real life proof should also contain a mechanism by which it darkens the lips. But no such mechanism is found. Unless you are allergic to vaseline.

guys i recommend vaseline (dont get the stick tho its a scam) and nivea (dont get the coloured ones) for lip balms and laniege lip sleeping masks for overnight but if you can't afford the laneige the lip balms are okay for overnight too!! as a lip product collector these are honestly the best i've ever tried and i can't live without them ❤❤❤

If you want good lips in the morning then put a thick layer of vaseline on your lips when you go to bed, technically you can do it at anytime but vaseline easily rubs all over the place when you’re talking and drinking water so I suggest doing it at night.

Vaseline is a petroleum product and people have developed allergies to petroleum derived products too. Though, It does the job well in sealing forming a layer over the skin. It's used as an industrial sealant as well as it is much more stable with heat and chemicals. Any product should be used in moderation. Natural essential oils calls for the same. Allergies are very personal. Most, but not all Synthetic products are potent and are made to solve particular issues. Nature has a way of balancing and is different from isolated products like we do now. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay away from natural products unless it's known to be allergic to them. While Vaseline seals, the benefits and repair and soothing some natural products can give you is incomparable to Vaseline. I love your energy and enthusiasm. It's light. Please do consider more before making content. Only love :)

Beeswax is occlusive but it's also not very good for your skin. She fucked up at the end there with the nipple cream and calling it occlusive because nipple cream contains lanolin which is even worse for your skin than beeswax. Please never put lanolin on your skin lol

Use Vaseline lip therapy rosy lips it will give u a little bit tint and there are other flavours of Vaseline lip therapy other than rosy lips they are the original one , the aloe Vera one and the cocoa butter one and in limited edition the good one is Vaseline lip therapy hershey s kisses lip balm but If u want a tinted lip balm you can use Vaseline lip therapy rosy lips

Oh nooo i literally quit vaseline ( many said they increase hyperpigmentation on ur lips) and nivea and all this to try burts bees..started with the original one then moved on to their flavoured ones like pomegranate etc and I literally apply them more than 3 times a day and still i did see my lips getting chapped and dry especially on lipsticks and i cudnt understand why. 😭 what is this now i cant use burts bees also
