bro i just got out of this wild think tank. terror of the peaks overlord of the boilierbilges overlord of the hauntwoods enduring tenacity bloodthirsty conquerer brass tunnel grinder enduring courage llanowar elves lich knight conquest!!!!!! ok so youre ideal turn structure would be turn 1 lanowar elves into turn 2 brass tunnel grinder discarding either terror of the peaks or overlord of the boilierbilges enduring tenacity bloodthirsty conquerer or any 4 creatures with total power 20 and terror of the peaks then you just play overlord of the hauntwoods and play out the next turn hopefully casting one more overlord or enduring creature this gives you enough tokens/enchantments to sac to conquest and reanimate everything to kill on the spot 😅
There's a build that is leaning into Bloodthirsty Conqueror as an infinite loop with Enduring Tenacity but it's a combo deck instead of midrange. Soulstone Sanctuary looks like the most promising upgrade since the deck could benefit from better manland options against control and I suspect to see it showing up on the tracker eventually. Abyssal Harvester has been explored and wasn't a game changer. Desecration Demon seems worse than Archfiend of the Dross. Phyrexian Arena worse than Unholy Annex. And Liliana, Dreadhorde General has also been explored, and seems like unnecessary top end for the time being. Hope that helps :)

I've really enjoyed Azorius Oculus. I think it has an interesting balance of combo and interaction. Rakdos Lizards has been fun too. And I'll admit I've even enjoyed the very linear strategy of Rakdos or Mardu Aggro flinging Slickshots at my oppo. Lots of great options
Sadly it has been explored and hasn't performed very well. The data would suggest 1 mana value targets are more beneficial to the Sheltered by Ghosts strategy 🤷♂
Jace comes to mind. Usually it's for Planeswalkers. Liliana, etc. has a couple other fun hits as well though since it counters both activated and triggered abilities

For the moment it is in tier 3 in bo1 since it struggles against the pressure of Boros Auras, Mono-Red Aggro, and Boros Burn. If we see a rise in Mono-Black Discard it could start performing better, since Reanimator drops interaction for the reanimation pieces it's punished less by slower strategies especially ones that fill the graveyard. And in bo3, Foundations brought a fair number of cards with graveyard hate, Scavenging Ooze for example, that create problems for the deck as well.
Which one looks the most fun? Mono-Red Aggro and Boros Auras have been the most consistent throughout the weeks but are the most heavily teched against. I used Mardu Aggro to climb last season and Mono-Red Aggro this season. You can take any of them to Mythic

@@billdaniels4932 If you're double clicking the deck and it states that the deck is set to standard and wants you to change it to alchemy you're definitely on the alchemy match making. On the right side under find match (not in the deck editor) you should be able to toggle it to standard. Same place where you'd choose bo3, bo1, ranked, play, brawl, etc. Hope that helps :)
Not necessarily. Unsummon can target your own creature which helps evade wraths. Similar to using Soul Partition on your own guy, it creates different lines since Into the Floodmaw is limited to bouncing your opponent's creature/permanent
Yes. Cards that are part of Beginner box, and cards from Starter collection. You can only craft them with wildcards. And in paper version you also cant get them in Foundation boosters.
Yes as ReadyAimFire_ mentioned, there are some that you have to craft with wildcards. If you're talking about in paper, there are play boosters (which are limited to the draft pool, up to #291ish iirc) and collector boosters. You can bounce your own creature in response to a wrath or removal with Unsummon

Minimal but at some point you'll want the Burst Lightning since it lets you hit for 4 if the game goes long

As a new player i can build one of the top 5 decks as I have saved up enough wildcards! What one would you suggest?
