  • Not only is Tshilidzi Matshidzula one of the best dairy farmers at the country, he also made history when he won the coveted Eastern Cape Young Farmer of the Year award back in 2016, the first black farmer to ever do so. It was the first of many historic firsts, and today, at just 31, this youngster that goes by the name of Chilli, is already one of South Africa’s black farming legends. But as with most things worth having, success didn’t come easy. It took Chilli years of hard-working, tough negotiations and a little luck to transform a failed land-reform project into a viable, world-class dairy that today milks an impressive 1000 cows. With the help of his friend, mentor and fellow shareholder in the business, the commercial dairy farmer Walter Biggs, Chilli then went and double his farming output with another operation at Stutterheim, that also can milk 1000 cattle!

Arid portions of Africa will benefit greatly from SWRT Solutions subsurface membrane technology which is presently being tested in Kenya. This water and nutrient saving technology is delivering 5 to 7 times more crop on small holder farms.

No matter how " small, family farm, organic, local, pasture-raised, certified humane, or welfare approved....ANIMAL AGRICULTURAL- THE SYSTEMATIC FARMING OF SENTIENT BEINGS & INDIVIDUALS- is at its CORE based on the grossest devalueing of life! When you maintain that a animals dearest wish for continued existence and the entire potential lifetime of meaningful experiences are worth less than non-essential taste of bacon, hamburger or cheese, that animal should actually be killed for these fleeting & replaceable pleasures, despite an abundance of plant-based alternatives; then you are saying in effect that these innocent, voiceless animals are trash. The only logical outcome is that they will then be treated like trash!
Why choose to be cruel, why? Speciesism is Racism, dont be a hypocrite....find love and compassion.
99% of the human-animals agree that harming animsls needlessly is WRONG yet 99% of the human- animals harm & KILL animals needlessly
