What a lovely little town, so cute. I could almost smell the fresh air. Beautiful arty statues. I think that car was an old Russian Lada by the boxy look of it. The doggy made me laugh, was he late for breakfast 😆! Those real estate prices might be 5 years old, like the ones in Saranda. Their window ads are sooo old and way out of date. Would have liked to have aeen your apartment, just nosey 😄 Thanks, I enjoyed it as always !
I think there's photos of the apartment on our Facebook page. I could be wrong... EDIT: I Just checked, and no there were none taken there. It was nice. It would be no good for a long term stay for me, it had no outdoor patio or deck, and it had no air conditioning for the summer.
I'm so happy you stayed in Bansko! Come back soon! The pedestrian street with all the statues is Tsar Simeon, aka "Jazz Alley." The water collector thingy at the top of Gotse Delchev is an antique washing machine; that's what was used back in the day - can you believe it? In tucked away corners of town, they're still used to wash rugs. That Billa supermarket you were at is really expensive - head for the neighborhood supermarkets like Grosh which are smaller but have a good selection. Grosh also has takeaway burgers and pizza at reasonable prices. See you soon!
That is neat the washing machine! Yes, Bansko is nice. Our friends are still there but leaving in a couple of days, it has got very cold there. Friends of ours also own a bar in town.
Prices are quite low, but it is a small place not much around. We don't usually do condo or apartment tours. I know some folks have asked to see the places we are staying at. Maybe it's just me, I find those kind of tours in others videos to be quite boring. Maybe if we have an exceptional place we should do that. Today is a travel day, flying to our next destination... long flight(s). I think we can video the place at that location! It should be nice.
Loving your videos!!! You absolutely crack me up😅....your both so honest .....down to earth.... your living an amazing experience!!!! Big love you 2!!! 😊
Yeah I am sure it would be pretty packed. Lots come from the UK, as well as Balkan region and Greece. It's not a huge ski mountain compared to many, but it's prices for ski are reasonable, around 55 euro per day.. which by todays standards is cheap. There are a few adult bars and apparently there are some wild parties in the city at times! It's small, but cool.
@@JayandSarah It's actually a pretty big ski resort - it's still the largest one in all of Eastern Europe. Bulgaria also has the tallest and biggest mountains in the Balkans and Eastern Europe too. Let alone the whole peninsula is named after the Balkan mountain range which stretches across the whole country and divides it in two.
Within the Balkan region, there is a notable presence of exotic automobiles. While the average Bulgarian citizen may not possess one, there exists a substantial population of high-net-worth individuals who indulge in such luxuries.
We have a general idea of the route we will take but don't book too far ahead so we have flexibility. This year we booked out 8 months of travel to start our journey, which we thought would reduce our stress. It did help with that, but it also gave us less ability to change up our plans. We did make some changes part way.. but moving forward we don't want to plan more than a month or two into the future. See how that works.

WOW! Loving the Real Estate prices! Maybe a condo/apt tour in the future? Nice to hear there is no 9 ft of snow in town during the winter.

Yeah pretty much, that why we got out of there.I'm not interested in wearing puffy jackets and winter clothes if I don't need to.
Another great video! Looks like a charming place.
Thanks! It really is!

@JayandSarah I knew you would spot those bars smiling 😃
@@trevorvardy9224 yeah they weren't open, so that was that.

Sure, everywhere has high net worth people with this sort of thing. It's just not common to see so it sticks out.
Do you have a plan for your travel itinerary in 2025. Or do you decide once your tired of one spot and just want to move on to a different place.
