"They'll take the grail between your thighs" is the lyric. The "grail" is an archaic term used to refer to female reproductive organs if memory serves. Definitely fits the song.
It this case, it would be the male's reproductive organ, as he says " They'll take the grail between YOUR thighs"
@@whatitdodave I am fairly certain that he is meant to be singing TO a woman, or in the case of the video women such as the nuns shown in the video. He seems to be tempting the female listeners with descriptions of the various sorts of "delights" demons might subject them to if they would only give in to those demons. That, at least to me, seems to be what the intent is behind the song.
@@whatitdodave I think you got the perspective wrong on this one... it's about demons tempting women... There also exist a version where the singer of Arch Enemy takes the place of the singer here and the roles are reversed, where it's a woman singing about demons tempting men instead. and the nuns are replaced by altar boys/men
Oh you are in for a wild ride with Powerwolf my friend, the very best power metal band. I highly recommend "Blood for Blood" next or "fire and forgive"

I enjoy the energy the bands Keyboard/Organ player gives off especially from the live performances.
I soon as I saw which band was next I had to watch immidiatly.
Some of their other songs I enjoyed were "we drink your blood" and "dynamite".
Keep up the great videos.
Hoping for more Powerwolf reactions! Been listening to them alongside with Sabaton for a few years now and I think the best songs to get into Powerwolf are definetely

Fun fact: Sabaton and Powerwolf have a special kind of relationship... Powerwolf is said to be Sabaton but religious and Sabaton is said to be Powerwolf but about military conflict. 😂

Btw: I'd love if you continued to do some more Powerwolf. They are my second favourite Power Metal band after Sabaton and have many amazing and catchy songs. The one I'd reccomend would be Resurrection by Erection. As the name suggests, it is about an angel giving you *mean head* to revive you... interesting 😏

Powerwolf includes 'werewolf'. In the imaginary of some European regions, the werewolves are the souls of felon crusaders, condemned to rise every dusk and fight evil forces until dawn, when they return to their tomb. I suggest you check also 'Amen and Attack', 'Christ and combat', 'Faster than the flame', 'Blood for blood", 'Incense and iron' 'Beast of Gevaudan' and 'Killers with the cross'. The latter refers to the nickname of the crusaders, as some of them did go to Holy land only for gaining land on the locals.
I loved your League of Legends reactions and now you do my favorite band as well, I'm so happy :D Their concerts are really great, they sound awesome live, have a lot of energy and always find ways to be interactive with the crowd.
If you look at the video, you first see the nuns are trying to resist the demons, after that you see them biting their lips and lickin them before they disrobe.

Alissa White-Gluz from Arch enemy did a cover and it flips the script in an awesome way.
Powerwolf are brothers in arms (music) for Sabaton. Sabaton is a war, Powerwolf is a religion. Two sides of one medal.

What it do What It Do Dave. I'm a Powerwolf fan and knew the song before I saw the video. Going in, I wondered why the video had an unusually high amount of views for a power metal song, until the unexpected turn. After that it made complete sense haha. Great reaction. Glad to see you enjoy the genre. Sanctified with Dynamite and In The Name of God (Deus Vult) are also great.

This song is so dang catchy and awesome already, but I think you would enjoy Alissa's version of this song too, if not even more. She adds a whole new level of power to this already powerful song. First time I heard her version I had such a confidence boost. Seriously, it's fantastic!
