I hear overseas pairs got more yellow then regular pairs is that ok cause man this pair look super legit got that shoe smell but that bottom just trowing me off
Got a yellowish outsole from a legit retail store here in the Philippines. Also got one from Nike SNKRS Singapore that has the same yellowish outsole, tag label, etc. Word spreading here is that the US is the only country that has a whitish outsole, everyone else has yellowish. I like the yellowish a bit more since it adds contrast on the shoes and would hide stains better than the milky white.
Honestly, bro 😢 I got mine from Flight Club when I missed the shock drop, received it a week before actual release, super pumped, but had yellow sole, didn’t think much of it till I started seeing videos about fakes and so on. These pairs looked real, had tags, everything seemed to be legit. Fast forward to actual release date, bought a pair from retail, they were more milky and I was happy. Now I have both and have noticed, the yellowed sole shoe from flight club is better quality than the retail milky version. I’m torn, but I got both so I’m okay I guess.
There are %100 2 different versions. I got a pair from foot locker on release date that are more of a milky bottom and also got a pair from the snkrs app that is the yellowish bottom. Even the laces were tied different.. milky bottoms tucked in and tied behind the tongue like most jordans come and the yellowish ones had the laces tied on the outside with the loops tucked back. Just by looking at them id say the ones with the yellowish bottoms appear to be better quality. More precise cuts, no glue stains etc. Very strange
I mean different versions has always been a thing since Nike has been using different factories. There have always been slight differences if they were made in korea compared to the pairs made in china at least for the OG pairs from the 90s. The playoff 7s are a prime example of this, the korea pair has a color blocking similar to the bordeuxs with dark grey and black panels while pairs made in china were all black.

Nike themselves is selling both "versions" (if you want to call it that). I have a friend who got a darker yellow sole version shipped directly from Nike in Canada, that version came from a warehouse in Europe. But Nike themselves are selling that, it's not just StockX or Flight Club.

The US model ones are probably likely mass produced in higher numbers than the ones for the Euro/Asia market.

I trust goat, I buy all of my shoes from there and I have been collecting for a while so I think I can spot the differences from an authentic pair to a fake one, I just believe the ones goat, flight club, and Stockx are selling are the pairs that have been made overseas because I also have the white stamp on the bottom of my box as well as with the sizing stamp in “cm” Europe sizing instead of the American “size whatever” in the shoe. I personally do like the milky white bottoms better in my opinion but I was just too impatient to buy on release day so I went to goat beforehand due to the price dipping below retail as a Christmas gift to myself for the holidays.

It’s true, there are the US version and then the overseas. I got both, one directly from Nike and then the other from sneakers n stuff which is EU authorized retailer. I was concerned too, but customer service confirmed they come direct from manufacturer factory.
I'm from Canada and a) Picked up locally on release day and it was milky white b) Got 2 (diff sizes cause I didn't know the fit) and both from Nike on online release. But they were shipped out from Belgium (delayed) and both had the darker yellow version. So seems like there are 2 versions from my experience

I bought my son a pair from the Goat usually I buy from Nike but his shoes came from Malaysia and the bottoms had a yellowish sole but the shoe looked exactly the same as the Nike shoe.
I have both I got the overseas version from kickscrew on the shock drop.. And I got the other ones from Nike on the release date.. Love both and truth be told when you have the overseas ones on you can't really tell the difference in the color
This really isn't an issue Jordan's from the 80s and 90s were made in China and korea... Some minor differences but never was a problem... It honestly made pairs for rare and unique

So, if you got a pair that looked different from the next pair, at least you know you bought something authentic. That's not the case in this era.
I just got mine today from Flight club. They have the yellow soles with a Nike Japanese tag and a red Flight club tag. I heard the overseas version have the yellow soles and the USA versions doesn’t.
I got mine from Finish Line and the bottom matches the 72-10 Jordan 11 retro perfectly. They are a little milky and will probably yellow before too long but they're not quite that golden color found on some of them. The patent leather is creased up horribly after just a few years unlike any other Jordan 11 retro ever released. I have wore several pair until the bottoms came unglued and none of them have ever creased like these Gratitudes.

I hit on the shock drop and got a pair on STOCKX. My STOCKX pair had that piss colored outsole. That same day I reached out to STOCKX to ask for a refund. It took a few weeks but they refunded me no problem. I also hit on the December 9th drop on SNKRS so I’m happy with my double up now.

I ordered from stock x for the first time ever this year and I got the Jordan 11 dmp/gratitude. I was worried about it at first but, once I finally got them in hand, it was a good experience for my first time. I bought another pair from hibbet sports and they were both the same. I'm not going to say fakes aren't getting thru but, all platforms have had fakes come thru. For me, using stock x was fine. U have to watch out for who u are watching on TH-cam when they say they got fakes from in particular stock x and goat, they are just trying to make them look bad. That's not to say people don't get fakes. I think it's ok to order from these places but, it also depends on what your ordering

I can say that StockX canceled an order that I pLAced because it didn't pass authenticity. So, I feel like they try to do right by their customers. It's just tough and too risky with how good the reps are.
I got one milky pair from SNKRS and the yellowish Pair from SNS. I spoke to Nike and they said if the style number in the shoe is the same then they should look exactly the same but they don’t
They probably looked the same at some point. We still still don't have an expLAnation as to why the soles look different. Something could've went wrong during production, causing the soles to yellow more. We don't know the real reason, unfortunately.
I can confirm my stockx pair have the yellow-ish sole and I was relieved when i saw this video pop up in my feed. I was tweaking for days after I saw another pair with a more clear outsole thinking SX had got one over on me. I didnt bother returning because in a few months/ a year they'd have been yellow anyway as 11s tend to do, but its good to know I have a legit pair. Also, is anyone else pair squeaking loudly by the tongue? its like every step i take i hear the leather rubbing and squeaking together
I'm gLAd the video gave you some reassurance. That's pretty much what I hoped the video would do for most people. As for the leather squeaking, I haven't worn mine yet. So, I'm not sure of a fix for that. Maybe try a quick Google search.
I purchased mine through Goat as well. Supposedly were shipped from seller in UK to Goat facility for authentication. Then shipped to me. Mine does have a yellowish tint as well. Stitching looks very good and there’s no weird smell coming from them. Just want to make sure they real.

I bought a pair from GOAT and it came with the yellow bottom and stamps on the soles of the shoes as well as a Nike tag in Japanese. I was not feeling that so I returned them and went to footlocker and copped up and they are the US release with the exact colors and no stamps. I’m not saying the ones from Goat were fake, but I am saying I returned them lol
😅 I think it's the familiarity with what you know the sneakers to look like. So, when it comes to the extra tags and stamps, it kinda throws you off. I get it 😅
a question that I have then after watching this is that should I be worried if there is a chinese sticker on my 11s. I bought 11 cherrys twice this year and got the same sticker, took them to get authenitcated by resellers in my area, and they passed. but the foam footbed was present and the sole said aj11 qf . I saw them on the same quality on the gratitudes and now im confused
The Cherry 11's I got from SNKRS didn't come with the AJ 11 insole. The insole has a chart on the bottom. I always say you should be a little worried when you purchase from a 3rd party vendor. But, if you have sneaker boutiques in your area, you can do an in-person comparison to see if you see anything "off" about your pair.
There are 2 versions. Nike has often used multiple factories. Even if you go back to the original 1985 Jordan 1. The same with the OG black infrared Jordan 6, that’s why some people remember the back being a slightly different material on those.
Good point, Mike. However, the difference is, back then sneakers weren't selling out and there were no 3rd party apps to buy from. So, if you got a pair that was different from another, at least you knew it was authentic.
Could it potentially be oxidation from how they had the shoes stored prior to release? Having a couple clear soled Jordan’s I feel like if they started producing these awhile ago the soles couple have potentially turned yellow from continuous light exposure. Or maybe not I hope that’s not the case.

Thanks for confirming! That's pretty much the point I wanted to make in the video. The stateside version was promoted more, so when some people got pairs with yellow soles, they were either confused, upset, or both. I haven't seen the European version in person, but I'm sure they're still 🔥

Going down this rabbit hole since receiving my order from StockX last Friday. Outsole a good bit yellow. StockX now has in the description of the shoe that some versions may have a slightly different colored outsole based on region they were made. To me they are a good bit yellow compared to the US retail versions in all of the YT videos, etc I’m looking at. Plan to see about possibly returning as I have not removed StockX verification tag or worn on feet. Was really excited to get these, but hate seeing so many videos about either a ton of fakes or possibly 2 versions.
I hate you're not satisfied with your order, Dennis. I honestly believe there's a possibility two versions. This is not an unprecedented thing. But, at the same time, I've only seen the US version in person. So, I'm limited to what I can say about the other one.

Did your stockx pair come with the Chinese sticker label on the bottom of the box. My stockx pair did but my SNKRS app pair didn’t. And yes the stockx pair is more yellow then my SNKRS pair and my retail pair I got at the mall

Got a quick reply from StockX about my concerns & they quickly responded & said I can return for refund. I want the “milky” bottoms with the US version, so sending mine back to StockX today & ordered US version via eBay. StockX did not say in their reply about international vs US versions, but I’m pretty sure I just got a generic “if you’re not happy you can return” since I had not removed the StockX verification tag. Pleased with return process at this point.

Yeah bro I just received mine a couple days ago gottem on StockX and I’m in Louisiana I definitely have that yellow ish sole but the quality is definitely A1 on the European pair. But if what’s being said is true then I definitely prefer that yellow tint, but I am a huge fan of an icy bottom all in all though this has probably been the most sketchiest drop I’ve ever seen.

Mine have the yellowish bottom and i cant complain about the quality honestly. My friend has a pair he got from footlocker and mine seem to be of a better quality so idk if they arent legit they did a damn good job.

I got mime from GOAT. They are deep pre-aged yellow as if they were a reimagined pair. I guess I’ll keep them. I mean I’ll never have yellowing anxiety because they came out the box like that. GOAT is definitely getting variants though. Not quite sure how I feel about that.

I got a pair from Nike app in the Philippines. It checked all the "fake" signs from your previous videos... So... Either Nike Philippines is sourcing from fakes or there really are multiple versions.
Multiple versions you can tell by material and uv light and probably downs check all the “fake “ signs but they probably got picture from the real so the fakes can look as identical as the fakes

I got my 11s on the shock drop in November from the Snkrs app. I'm on the East Coast in the US and I have sail-colored bottoms not milky. I thought that's the way they were supposed to be. Who knew? Lol

I bought a pair from Flightclub/GOAT, since they are partnered together now as a company. And the bottom is egg yellow. A pair I bought of the SNKRS apps is a creamy white/clear sole. I don't know what to do with the yellow bottom 11's.
Stamp on the inside of the shoe, underneath the shoe insert is a dead giveaway, and the 23 on the back of the right shoe is slightly crooked. I sent numerous emails to try and return for a refund. I got no response. I got a legit pair off the SNKR app though.
I got a pair in an “certified” shoe store here in the Dominican republic and they came with the yellow sole, most latinoamerican nike shoes in general came with a white tag(not the size tag) besides the shoe like how they put the extra laces back then, with a little transparent thing, anyways great video!
I think Nike did this to hurt stock x and other similar companies. I returned my stock x pair and ordered from Nike and got the same darker sole. The pair from champs Canada was lighter.

Quality control is one thing. So, yes, you're right about that. As far as the factories go, they were all supplied the same materials to make this shoe. So, the question is, why does one part of the world have a completely different sole than the other part of the world?

I got mine on the shock drop for them, no issue. Hit again on drop day, same thing, no issue. Use your gut when buy'n, from apps, at stores, don't cop, keep and complain. Lol
The two pairs I showed in the video, one was from the shock drop and the other was from the release date. I agree, Frank, but it's still tough to get shoes out here. I do recommend buying in person, so you can at least inspect what you're getting.

I got a pair from Nike and a pair from StockX... the X pair indeed had the yellow outsoles--sent them back like an overcooked steak. Nike needs better QC on these mass drops.

you probably won’t see this comment because i’m a little late but on goat and stock x the pictures all have yellow soles but if in the description it says like translucent bottom sole and i checked the color description it says white and black and metallic gold like i think it’ll be the milky one but the picture has the yellow one. i’m not sure which one i will receive

Which one you end up getting depends on where the seller bought the sneaker. If the seller is in Europe, then you'll most likely get the yellow sole. You could still end up with either or. Thanks for commenting, Tony. Your shoes could still be real. If you ended up with the European version (assuming it actually exists), then your shoe is probably authentic. The leather on the tongue will differ from pair to pair. I have 2 pairs, and one is a bit more wrinkled than the other. If you're truly not satisfied with the pair you received, return them....I know I would.
When I see videos and comments like this it makes me laugh. First off y’all messed up by buying shoes from Stock X and GOAT. Yes I said it! But then again if it is not the first sneaker that came off the assembly line ie. the original then every sneaker after that is a replication of said original. Most countries are known from time to time to have their own releases. Take the raging bulls for example. The Italian version has a darker color red than some of the other versions. This just goes to show that people that claim to be sneaker heads are actually hype beasts and undercover sneaker resellers. It is very rare for you to find a pair of retail sneakers that is identical to another pair of retail sneakers. Jacob Marcellus on TH-cam has proven this hundreds of times. Stop complaining! If you don’t like that there is two version of the sneaker then don’t buy it. Stop complaining on TH-cam about it! LNM pair has the lighter sole color, SZ has the darker and more yellow sole. I got the SZ unfortunately from nike app ph it has a thinner patent leather. My Tito bought LNM pair from toronto footlocker for my brother basically LNM is the best pair out of the bunch.
I've been hearing that the patent leather is not that good. I haven't worn them yet to know if that's true. I didn't know the quality was specific to the SZ pair, though.....Interesting.

If you have a pair from SNKRS, use that to authenticate the other one. It's really a tough one to authenticate, though.....especially if you don't have a reference.

chinese youtuber showed a original, class A and B. the class A and B have whitish and transparent outsole. The original got translucent and yellowish ousole.
This IS THE TRUTH. This is not a European version it’s Asian bro. Nike is paying Asians in China to make their shoes under the table for a cheaper price and also avoiding higher taxes. These big companies never play fair and always shit on someone else to stay on top and the people getting shit on is us. Nike sends these Asians their design and they use the blueprints to make thousands of pairs and have them ready for release for Nike. They made way to many before Nike gave them a official model along with the blueprint design. They thought the bottom was going to be that sail white. We’ve never had a retro 11 with this color sole. They apply what they are familiar with but made to many of the wrong color shoe. Nike wasn’t willing to ship more materials and they didn’t want to or have time to take the sole of each shoe because shoes were already shipped out so they would arrive on time for the Christmas holidays. Nike which is located in oregon owes us.
Very interesting take. I wish I knew more about the process and how everything works. It would just be better if Nike issued a statement addressing it, especially for such a wide release like the Gratitude.

Got a yellowish outsole from a legit retail store here in the Philippines. Also got one from Nike SNKRS Singapore that has the same yellowish outsole, tag label, etc. Word spreading here is that the US is the only country that has a whitish outsole, everyone else has yellowish. I like the yellowish a bit more since it adds contrast on the shoes and would hide stains better than the milky white.

Honestly, bro 😢 I got mine from Flight Club when I missed the shock drop, received it a week before actual release, super pumped, but had yellow sole, didn’t think much of it till I started seeing videos about fakes and so on. These pairs looked real, had tags, everything seemed to be legit. Fast forward to actual release date, bought a pair from retail, they were more milky and I was happy. Now I have both and have noticed, the yellowed sole shoe from flight club is better quality than the retail milky version. I’m torn, but I got both so I’m okay I guess.

There are %100 2 different versions. I got a pair from foot locker on release date that are more of a milky bottom and also got a pair from the snkrs app that is the yellowish bottom. Even the laces were tied different.. milky bottoms tucked in and tied behind the tongue like most jordans come and the yellowish ones had the laces tied on the outside with the loops tucked back. Just by looking at them id say the ones with the yellowish bottoms appear to be better quality. More precise cuts, no glue stains etc. Very strange

I mean different versions has always been a thing since Nike has been using different factories. There have always been slight differences if they were made in korea compared to the pairs made in china at least for the OG pairs from the 90s. The playoff 7s are a prime example of this, the korea pair has a color blocking similar to the bordeuxs with dark grey and black panels while pairs made in china were all black.

I was 2 when the original 7's released, so I didn't know about the different variations. I prefer the version with the bordeaux color blocking, though. Hopefully, we'll get a retro soon.
Nike themselves is selling both "versions" (if you want to call it that). I have a friend who got a darker yellow sole version shipped directly from Nike in Canada, that version came from a warehouse in Europe. But Nike themselves are selling that, it's not just StockX or Flight Club.

The US model ones are probably likely mass produced in higher numbers than the ones for the Euro/Asia market.

@@pedroencarnacion1259 The footbed was gray, I forgot the color of the stitching (it's wrapped under the tree). But yeah the dark sole/gray footbed version is being sold by Nike themselves.
I trust goat, I buy all of my shoes from there and I have been collecting for a while so I think I can spot the differences from an authentic pair to a fake one, I just believe the ones goat, flight club, and Stockx are selling are the pairs that have been made overseas because I also have the white stamp on the bottom of my box as well as with the sizing stamp in “cm” Europe sizing instead of the American “size whatever” in the shoe. I personally do like the milky white bottoms better in my opinion but I was just too impatient to buy on release day so I went to goat beforehand due to the price dipping below retail as a Christmas gift to myself for the holidays.

It’s true, there are the US version and then the overseas. I got both, one directly from Nike and then the other from sneakers n stuff which is EU authorized retailer. I was concerned too, but customer service confirmed they come direct from manufacturer factory.

a) Picked up locally on release day and it was milky white
b) Got 2 (diff sizes cause I didn't know the fit) and both from Nike on online release. But they were shipped out from Belgium (delayed) and both had the darker yellow version.
So seems like there are 2 versions from my experience

I have both I got the overseas version from kickscrew on the shock drop.. And I got the other ones from Nike on the release date.. Love both and truth be told when you have the overseas ones on you can't really tell the difference in the color

This really isn't an issue Jordan's from the 80s and 90s were made in China and korea... Some minor differences but never was a problem... It honestly made pairs for rare and unique

I see what you're saying.....But, back then you didn't have to worry about counterfeits. Most people were able to go to the store at any time and buy those sneakers. So, if you got a pair that looked different from the next pair, at least you know you bought something authentic.

I just got mine today from Flight club. They have the yellow soles with a Nike Japanese tag and a red Flight club tag. I heard the overseas version have the yellow soles and the USA versions doesn’t.
Correct it’s the Hong Kong version
I got mine from Finish Line and the bottom matches the 72-10 Jordan 11 retro perfectly. They are a little milky and will probably yellow before too long but they're not quite that golden color found on some of them. The patent leather is creased up horribly after just a few years unlike any other Jordan 11 retro ever released. I have wore several pair until the bottoms came unglued and none of them have ever creased like these Gratitudes.

I hit on the shock drop and got a pair on STOCKX. My STOCKX pair had that piss colored outsole. That same day I reached out to STOCKX to ask for a refund. It took a few weeks but they refunded me no problem. I also hit on the December 9th drop on SNKRS so I’m happy with my double up now.
I'm gLAd you were able to get a refund. I remember they would ask for you to sell the shoe back on the StockX app, if you weren't happy with your order. I guess that has changed.

I ordered from stock x for the first time ever this year and I got the Jordan 11 dmp/gratitude. I was worried about it at first but, once I finally got them in hand, it was a good experience for my first time. I bought another pair from hibbet sports and they were both the same. I'm not going to say fakes aren't getting thru but, all platforms have had fakes come thru. For me, using stock x was fine. U have to watch out for who u are watching on TH-cam when they say they got fakes from in particular stock x and goat, they are just trying to make them look bad. That's not to say people don't get fakes. I think it's ok to order from these places but, it also depends on what your ordering

I agree! That was the point I wanted to make towards the end of the video. I think StockX, GOAT, and Flight Club do their best to authenticate, but sometimes a few fakes get through. I can only imagine how much volume they do per day. In addition to fakes getting better. So, it's always risky.

I got one milky pair from SNKRS and the yellowish Pair from SNS. I spoke to Nike and they said if the style number in the shoe is the same then they should look exactly the same but they don’t
They probably looked the same at some point. We still still don't have an expLAnation as to why the soles look different. Something could've went wrong during production, causing the soles to yellow more. We don't know the real reason, unfortunately.
I can confirm my stockx pair have the yellow-ish sole and I was relieved when i saw this video pop up in my feed. I was tweaking for days after I saw another pair with a more clear outsole thinking SX had got one over on me. I didnt bother returning because in a few months/ a year they'd have been yellow anyway as 11s tend to do, but its good to know I have a legit pair. Also, is anyone else pair squeaking loudly by the tongue? its like every step i take i hear the leather rubbing and squeaking together

As for the leather squeaking, I haven't worn mine yet. So, I'm not sure of a fix for that. Maybe try a quick Google search.
I purchased mine through Goat as well. Supposedly were shipped from seller in UK to Goat facility for authentication. Then shipped to me. Mine does have a yellowish tint as well. Stitching looks very good and there’s no weird smell coming from them. Just want to make sure they real.

I bought a pair from GOAT and it came with the yellow bottom and stamps on the soles of the shoes as well as a Nike tag in Japanese.
I was not feeling that so I returned them and went to footlocker and copped up and they are the US release with the exact colors and no stamps.

a question that I have then after watching this is that should I be worried if there is a chinese sticker on my 11s. I bought 11 cherrys twice this year and got the same sticker, took them to get authenitcated by resellers in my area, and they passed. but the foam footbed was present and the sole said aj11 qf . The Cherry 11's I got from SNKRS didn't come with the AJ 11 insole. The insole has a chart on the bottom.
I always say you should be a little worried when you purchase from a 3rd party vendor. But, if you have sneaker boutiques in your area, you can do an in-person comparison to see if you see anything "off" about your pair.

There are 2 versions. Nike has often used multiple factories. Even if you go back to the original 1985 Jordan 1. The same with the OG black infrared Jordan 6, that’s why some people remember the back being a slightly different material on those.

However, the difference is, back then sneakers weren't selling out and there were no 3rd party apps to buy from. So, if you got a pair that was different from another, at least you knew it was authentic.
Could it potentially be oxidation from how they had the shoes stored prior to release? Having a couple clear soled Jordan’s I feel like if they started producing these awhile ago the soles couple have potentially turned yellow from continuous light exposure. Or maybe not I hope that’s not the case.

That's pretty much the point I wanted to make in the video. The stateside version was promoted more, so when some people got pairs with yellow soles, they were either confused, upset, or both. I haven't seen the European version in person, but I'm sure they're still 🔥

Going down this rabbit hole since receiving my order from StockX last Friday. Outsole a good bit yellow. StockX now has in the description of the shoe that some versions may have a slightly different colored outsole based on region they were made. To me they are a good bit yellow compared to the US retail versions in all of the YT videos, etc I’m looking at. Plan to see about possibly returning as I have not removed StockX verification tag or worn on feet. Was really excited to get these, but hate seeing so many videos about either a ton of fakes or possibly 2 versions.

Did your stockx pair come with the Chinese sticker label on the bottom of the box. My stockx pair did but my SNKRS app pair didn’t. And yes the stockx pair is more yellow then my SNKRS pair and my retail pair I got at the mall

Got a quick reply from StockX about my concerns & they quickly responded & said I can return for refund. I want the “milky” bottoms with the US version, so sending mine back to StockX today & ordered US version via eBay. StockX did not say in their reply about international vs US versions, but I’m pretty sure I just got a generic “if you’re not happy you can return” since I had not removed the StockX verification tag. Pleased with return process at this point.

Yeah bro I just received mine a couple days ago gottem on StockX and I’m in Louisiana I definitely have that yellow ish sole but the quality is definitely A1 on the European pair. But if what’s being said is true then I definitely prefer that yellow tint, but I am a huge fan of an icy bottom all in all though this has probably been the most sketchiest drop I’ve ever seen.

Multiple versions you can tell by material and uv light and probably downs check all the “fake “ signs but they probably got picture from the real so the fakes can look as identical as the fakes

I bought a pair from Flightclub/GOAT, since they are partnered together now as a company. And the bottom is egg yellow. A pair I bought of the SNKRS apps is a creamy white/clear sole. I don't know what to do with the yellow bottom 11's.

Stamp on the inside of the shoe, underneath the shoe insert is a dead giveaway, and the 23 on the back of the right shoe is slightly crooked. I sent numerous emails to try and return for a refund. I got no response. I got a legit pair off the SNKR app though.
Yeah my 23 on the right shoe was off to the right more. The left was centered. Stiching on lace loops look off too compared to my SNKRS pair.
I got a pair in an “certified” shoe store here in the Dominican republic and they came with the yellow sole, most latinoamerican nike shoes in general came with a white tag(not the size tag) besides the shoe like how they put the extra laces back then, with a little transparent thing, anyways great video!

I think Nike did this to hurt stock x and other similar companies. I returned my stock x pair and ordered from Nike and got the same darker sole. The pair from champs Canada was lighter.

@retrospectivedave9018 Process was a little frustrating at 1st--they def don't make it easy. Submitted a bunch of photos and a narrative and they sent me a return label after 3 days of back/forth. I've purchased 18 pairs of shoes from them w/ no issues until now.

I don't think Nike would send you a fake shoe. If so, that's pretty bogus. If you got them from SNKRS, then I wouldn't worry.

you probably won’t see this comment because i’m a little late but on goat and stock x the pictures all have yellow soles but if in the description it says like translucent bottom sole and i checked the color description it says white and black and metallic gold like i think it’ll be the milky one but the picture has the yellow one. i’m not sure which one i will receive

So, even though one is yellow and the other is milky, both soles are still considered to be translucent. Which one you end up getting depends on where the seller bought the sneaker. If the seller is in Europe, then you'll most likely get the yellow sole. You could still end up with either or.

I don't know if they got it wrong or if it was intentional. Maybe Nike was trying to please everyone by making two different soles. It would just be nice if they confirmed the two versions.

I got my pair from stock x and it came from hong kong, the soles are really yellow and the tongue feels more wrinkled then the real pair, my cousin has a pair and I compared them and the soles look really different are mine real? And should I return?

Your shoes could still be real. If you ended up with the European version (assuming it actually exists), then your shoe is probably authentic.
The leather on the tongue will differ from pair to pair. I have 2 pairs, and one is a bit more wrinkled than the other.
If you're truly not satisfied with the pair you received, return them....I know I would.
When I see videos and comments like this it makes me laugh. First off y’all messed up by buying shoes from Stock X and GOAT. Yes I said it! But then again if it is not the first sneaker that came off the assembly line ie. the original then every sneaker after that is a replication of said original.
Most countries are known from time to time to have their own releases. Take the raging bulls for example. The Italian version has a darker color red than some of the other versions. This just goes to show that people that claim to be sneaker heads are actually hype beasts and undercover sneaker resellers.
It is very rare for you to find a pair of retail sneakers that is identical to another pair of retail sneakers. Jacob Marcellus on TH-cam has proven this hundreds of times. Stop complaining! If you don’t like that there is two version of the sneaker then don’t buy it. Stop complaining on TH-cam about it!

LNM pair has the lighter sole color, SZ has the darker and more yellow sole. I got the SZ unfortunately from nike app ph it has a thinner patent leather. My Tito bought LNM pair from toronto footlocker for my brother basically LNM is the best pair out of the bunch.
I've been hearing that the patent leather is not that good. I haven't worn them yet to know if that's true. I didn't know the quality was specific to the SZ pair, though.....Interesting.
I bought from Goat and stockx....both were yellow bottoms I sent the goat shoes back for a full refund and kept the others because I couldn't get a refund .....I guess you live and you learn

This IS THE TRUTH. This is not a European version it’s Asian bro. Nike is paying Asians in China to make their shoes under the table for a cheaper price and also avoiding higher taxes. These big companies never play fair and always shit on someone else to stay on top and the people getting shit on is us. Nike sends these Asians their design and they use the blueprints to make thousands of pairs and have them ready for release for Nike. They made way to many before Nike gave them a official model along with the blueprint design. They thought the bottom was going to be that sail white. We’ve never had a retro 11 with this color sole. They apply what they are familiar with but made to many of the wrong color shoe. Nike wasn’t willing to ship more materials and they didn’t want to or have time to take the sole of each shoe because shoes were already shipped out so they would arrive on time for the Christmas holidays. Nike which is located in oregon owes us.
Very interesting take. I wish I knew more about the process and how everything works. It would just be better if Nike issued a statement addressing it, especially for such a wide release like the Gratitude.
