- This is one possible joining method for connecting the optional squares for to Sophie's Universe to extend it from a square to a rectangle. This video is made with permission of the designer, Dedri Uys.
Other options for connecting this and the other optional square to Sophie's Universe can be found on www.lookatwhati...
Yarn used is Cotton 8 by Scheepjes and a 3mm crochet hook, color number 720.

You're welcome 😀
Where can we find "Jack Squares" or "Lydia Squares" to add to the Zipper border on here? I absolutely have to add these as they totally complete Sophia's Universe. Thank You!!
** I found them! Posted on your "it's all in a nutshell" site right above #19 - the Zipper join tutorial. Thank you so much for including these! I can't wait to make them to add to Sophia's Universe. It's going to look so lovely and grand!!
great, you found them :D
Love the look ! But I'm doing something wrong. Is there a common mistake that I must be doing ?
A common mistake is that your yarn is not below your work
Thank you . I'll try again
Hi, would this join work on hexagons?
on the straight edges, yes, but you may have to fudge the corners to not get too many stitches overlapping there
