Pete. That's got to be the very best sounding EDF I've ever heard if you camera is to be believed. Jim
yes jim it is an authentic sound, we actually thought it sounded better than a real turbine - lol,
Does E80 indicate an 80mm fan? 12S is a lot of power. It does sound awesome.
I actually came to the comments section to verify if it was a turbine or an EDF 😂
That is just a slick setup the way the motor drops down into the fuselage. Well done !
thanks
Wow! That is awsome! I have never seen 1 like that before...
thanks aj
Great stuff, sounded fantastic !
Glad you enjoyed it ian, awesome sound isnt it
Need to build my next powered glider with ducted fan too. Impressive power and sound! LOVE IT :o)
Go for it!
That’s the best edf I’ve ever seen
and heard !
Very cool! How did you attach the cowl to the JETEC housing (what glue, etc.)?
Wow! bravo, that was spectacular!
Thank you jeff ! Cheers ! didnt it sound bloody awesome m8
@@tbobborap1 It almost sounded like a real turbine and the squeal it made during those 4 point rolls, unbelievable!
Awesome glider.
Thanks cop
Legal parabens pelo trabalho

WOW that is fast when on motor.

Wow impresionante
thanks ian
Zero dislikes- as it should be
exactly
Never take Dislikes seriously - they come from toddlers whose thumbs slip when they fall off the potty.
lmfao
the edf sound is gorgeous , great performing pilot
yes druide it is an authentic sound, we actually thought it sounded better than a real turbine - lol,
That was brilliant bro, I guess if he really wanted to show off he could fly it right up the lens of your camera so you could get a good close up shot, lol. Cheers for posting
lol - cheers ken, great pilot is our luke
since when have EDF sounded like jet engines? Awesome sound
yes i know - we were gob smacked at the sound it gave out- incredible
Since they got 12 blades
I'm very impressed, and I love that retracting motor, but I must admit I'm more of a duration glider person. Struggling for height... Sniffing about for lift... Fiddling with wing camber settings... Watching to see what the birds are doing... I enjoy the 'messy' side of gliding.
I can see the point of having an airframe designed to suit a specific purpose - carrying cargo, performing aerobatics, dropping bombs, flying aerial combat, crop-spraying, pilot training, whatever.
So... an aerobatic glider seems a bit of an odd mix to me! ;-)
its the lazy mans way of cutting out the thermals i guess
Does it fly if you turn off the motor mid air?
watch the video and youll see !

?????????????
who is here because they thought this was a real glider... this guy
Folding Props, retractable motors, now an EDF retractable on a Glider. Slim Jim has nothing on this ''Swift''.
lol - thanks derek
