I have a Mosquito Magnet Defender / Garden Edition that I bought at a garage ale for $40!!!! Am looking for setup videos. Great score for $40 tho wouldn't u agree?
Hello Thank you for your video. I took my mosquito magnet apart as well and tested it. Its starts, runs for a bit then turns off. The gas flow and igniter turned on :) Could the other issue with these units be the thermostat? Its the probe very close to that igniter. And you are correct. Mosquito Magnet don't sell replacement parts. When I called them they did not seemed to concerned either. Be poor customer service.
@@dapperdanp2485 it’s actually a thermistor. I’ve pulled yr but the shape is unique. I don’t know if this is a 10k or 100k NTC thermistor. It should be repairable.

Yes if you've got gas flow then the thermostat could be an issue
