Does anyone remember Storyland used to run a deal where if you came into the park after 2, they gave you free ticket to return on another day. It was a great deal for those if us with summer house. Such great memories!
Thank you for the shout out for our amazing little Enchanted Forest, which is my home state's theme park. This park looks "AWESOME" and the New England Fall colors adds so much to the beauty! Thank you for showing us around Justin & Ally.
Storyland was a big part of my childhood, as my family had a vacation home in Conway. I have pictures of myself in the park from back in 1971 as a tiny baby, and have brought my children to Storyland, with hopes of 1 day bringing grand babies if I get so lucky! Thank you for flooding my memory of such wonderful happy, cherished memories of my past. Thank you for sharing!
So many great memories at Storyland! They have adult nostalgia nights in the summer. For New England kids , Story land has been a big part of their lives.
Even though I visited WDW a few times as a kid, growing up on the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border meant Story Land was my childhood theme park. Glad you got to experience it. There's also a bit of irony to the "A whale of a time" mention - we used to have a theme park in Mass called Whalom Park that had that as a slogan.
Going to Storyland is a right of passage for us native New Englanders, part of what i call the "Trinity" with Santas Village and the Polar Caves. Great video
I'm 71 years old, and visited Storyland a few times during my childhood, as well as Santa's Village. My dad loved New Hampshire, which wasn't far to go to from where we lived in Southeastern Massachusetts. It was our family's favorite vacationing area. Storyland is a great little attraction and has obviously been well kept up over the years.
What part of southern Ma? It was a privilege to visit the white Mountains every summer. I got married at the Mount Washington Hotel. I’ve always loved NH and I still do especially the White Mountains!
I used to go to Storyland every summer as a kid, thanks for bringing back such fond memories! Hopefully I can make it to one of the Nostalgia Nights next year!
I grew up in Maine and this was our Disney World before there was a Disney World. We went all the time. The next time you are in New Hampshire you need to drive North to Jefferson and visit Santa's Village - another classic kid park.
I may be the only person in the Randomland Fandom that was super excited to see you guys in Storyland! I live in Nor Cal now, but grew up in New Hampshire and my brothers and Sisters and I have many childhood memories going to Storyland as little kids. This punched me in the face with nostalgia unexpectedly lol. Please Please Please check out Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts if you guys get a chance while you're over there too! That's another place that was a childhood favorite. Love these trips to the east coast You and Ally have been taking
No there’s actually lots of us feeling very nostalgic. Boy how lucky were we having New Hampshire Beauty right in our backyard. I hope someday I’m lucky enough to share Storyland with my grand babies, not much has changed and I love that!
This one put a smile on my face. I Grew up in Epsom NH, went to Storyland with my parents many times as a kid. Now I'm 41 and take my wife and kids there. Thank you for this one Justin.
I loved going to Story Land every year as a kid. Thanks for the nostalgic trip. You should also check out Santa's Village! It's a Christmas theme park nearby and also amazing!
Added this to my bucket list!!! At 57, I really can't wait till I retire (5.5 years)...Road tripping All over! Living in PA My First trip is to back-roads it up to Montreal...then loop back down. This will be on that itinerary!
Living in New Hampshire years ago a friend of mine took my son and the neighborhood kids to Storyland. I always remember one of the boys was convinced the Cinderella horses were real! Now those kids are all grown men now,but i still get a chuckle when i think of it. My son who is now 39 and has his own business in Hudson (Rustys antiques and indoor flea market) still has fond memories of this neat place! Thanks for letting me see what its all about! Peace!
Your video made me cry happy tears. I use to take my kids here every year. I think it is a classy park and you made a classy video. Thank you for making the video. I hope you can go back next year.
This is so much fun! Storyland is my hometown theme park! It’s only about 15-20 minutes from our home and we spend the summer there with our kiddos, usually passing the time until we can get back to Disney again 😂Thank you for the great video! That is how we feel about Storyland too ❤
I love story land I haven't been in years but we have old tapes of me on some of those rides they've added a lot since I've been next time you're in that area you should check out another amusement park called Santa's village it has that same old school charm I think y'all would like it!
You two can have fun together wherever you go, I love that! I definitely would have taken my Grand Daughter when she was little, if we were there then!! Thanks for the fun times!!! 👍👍
I swear I just need to move to New England. It makes my heart happy. Thanks for taking us with you! I live in Arizona, and went to New England one year ago, and I can’t wait to go back.
America has some really cute and amazing theme parks. The Disney company keep pricing themselves out of the market, people are going to find other places to go.
Beautiful island, terrain, wonderful scenery, the finest videography. Crazy insane standing on the cliff shelf! Thanks for the post. Awareness, consciousness and love to you both!
Who knew that this land even existed? Love this video and your enthusiasm for all the Story land attractions reminds me of Huell Howser’s childlike fascination with all the places he visited. Thanks for the tour!
Went there when I was 6 or 7 in 1960’s.Don’t remember much but still have the pictures . I’m 68 yrs old and long time subscriber. Love the channel , great variety and history. God bless you and the family. From Connecticut.😁❤️🙏
I used to spend my childhood summers in N.H. when I was a little girl and would go Storyland. A lot has changed since then, but some things are still the same. I have pics of me and one of my family members on the train and me and my aunt on one of the Swan boats. I think I went on the og pumpkin coach and I went on the Pirate ship.
Justin, I have been there as a child and took my kids and then my grandkids they were very excited there.. but your enthusiasm is awesome. Wish I knew you were there. Love your videos. Nice seeing Allie enjoying Storyland too.
You know what else is cute. Story book forest at Idelwild in Ligonier, pa I know it’s long drive for you but there is a Humpty Dumpty and other cute things to see. They use to have live animals, now they have 3D cutouts of farm animals… still cute tho. And few years ago they added a big castle 🏰 Idelwild Park and Soakzone has really nice history to learn about. 😃 enjoy your adventures wherever you go! 👍
I got choked up multiple times throughout this video :') Ever since I started watching Randomland I hoped you'd visit, and I couldn't have asked for a better video! I don't recognize that Old Woman in the Shoe, but that Mother Goose is the sweetest person on the planet Glad you made it to our lovely little park!!
Great video!!! I live in Maine and grew up going there!!! Such a fun place.....definitely brings you back to your childhood!!! Enjoy your time in New England!!! :)
In Sacramento we have a place called fairytale town. It’s similar to this except there are no rides, you are allowed to climb on everything. So it’s basically a themed playground. The giant shoe is a slide! There was also “old McDonald’s farm” petting zoo. It was so cheap so we all went on field trips there often. The cool thing it is in a public park, right across the street was the zoo, and also in the park is funderland which is a tiny amusement park with rides but no cool theme.
I grew up in NY and went to an amusement park called Storytown. Did some research because I didn’t realize it was in New Hampshire. Turns out this one did use to go by Storytown but they renamed it to Storyland because of the one in NY already using the name Storytown. Interesting they were so close!
I love those quirky old themeparks! If you ever do get the chance and visit the Netherlands, you should come visit the Efteling and Toverland (Magic land)
Wow! Justin and Ally, that Storyland is so cool. I love it and someday I hope to go leaf peeping in New England 🍁🍂🌻. (When I grow up and get a campervan LoL). I totally want to go there! And I'm so envious of the cold weather. Its supposed to be close to 90 again on Sunday and Monday here in Orange. 🌞 Its so nice of that lady to let you kids use her cabin. Thanks for the great content!
I have been watching your videos for a long time and really enjoy your content. It allows me to travel to all of these places but not physically go. I'm currently a full time college student in Ohio and haven't ever really had the extra time to do much traveling but am really looking forward to it once I graduate in the near future. It would be such an honor to run into you someday or plan a day together. Out of curiosity, have you ever visited any of Ohio's major attractions? I am planning a family trip this coming Christmas to a place called, "The Inn at Christmas Place," in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Have you ever been there? I really appreciate everything you do and it would be awesome if we ever had time to talk. -Landen P
Oh wow you got out to Story Land! This is a rare case of JustinScarred visiting a place I'm quite familiar with! That is not Disney World! My kid has outgrown wanting to come here but I always liked it. And coaster enthusiasts have a good reason to go there in Roar-O-Saurus. That Splash Battle is my second favorite ride there, after Roar-O-Saurus. Great on a hot summer day. If you're staying near Lake Winnepesaukee, a great place to visit is Funspot in Weirs Beach, Laconia. It advertises itself as the world's biggest arcade--I don't know if that's true or not, but it's got the largest collection of classic 1970s-80s arcade games I've ever seen.
I'm first to comment again! Two times in a week. Oh my gosh the theme park is so cute! Have fun!! Thanks for the frequent videos. You two are adorable! ❤️❤️ 🐄🚂🎃🌳🌲🍃🍂🍁
Cool place! I thought it was kinda small when the video started... but there's a lot there! Great for little kids, and adults that are kids at heart. :0)
That place is adorable. Very well kept up it looks like. Justin, you mentioned it was purchased by the company that owns Kennywood, do they still own it? The chapel would be a gorgeous place for a real wedding.
Does anyone remember Storyland used to run a deal where if you came into the park after 2, they gave you free ticket to return on another day. It was a great deal for those if us with summer house. Such great memories!
that is still a thing!
Thank you for the shout out for our amazing little Enchanted Forest, which is my home state's theme park. This park looks "AWESOME" and the New England Fall colors adds so much to the beauty! Thank you for showing us around Justin & Ally.

Story Land was my Disney World as a kid! We went all the time because we couldn’t afford Disney. Great place still!
So many great memories at Storyland! They have adult nostalgia nights in the summer. For New England kids , Story land has been a big part of their lives.

I wonder if Six Gun City is still a park, I think it was close to Jefferson. How lucky are we to call this area home, just breathtaking!
That scared panda on the front of the flume ride boat was hilarious! 😸😸😸😸😸

Im so glad you came to my back yard - New England is an amazing place that not too many vloggers come to visit...! So Thank You!
I use to bring my 41 year old daughter there when she was young and then I brought her son my 21 year old grandson there when he was little

This was a great find, Justin! I was amazed at how the park just kept going and how you managed to keep your energy level up with such a huge tour!

I love Story Land! Next time you guys are out that way check out Santa’s Village!
I love odd little immersive theme parks like that! Thank you for doing this!

Such a cute, unique theme park 😍. What a fun one! 😊
This brings me back! Don’t miss Santa’s village . We always vacationed to NH from Nova Scotia . Also loved Clark trading post .
Quite cool! Thanks for taking us there
One of my kid’s favorites!
Looks like a nice way to spend the day.
Best day ever 💓

You guys are a delight. So many cool places with hilarious but educational commentary. Safe travels.
We enjoyed that very much. All the best to you.
Awesome video of a wonderful park! I loved the high speed train ride lol! I was the train driver that day, so glad you had fun!
Looks beautiful there!

Went there as a kid in the 1960s. I certainly don't remember any animatronics back then.
Cool vid. Reminds me of Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Fiddler, Fifer and Practical!
Love your vids man! Just found you again! I’ve watched your videos for 7 years now man! Keep up the great work❤
We went here back in 2019. Not my fave park but was a fun day
