I love the Holotable scene because in retrospect you know Ward's like "I infiltrated this team, am helping a giant takeover, and somehow Garrett never taught me how to use this thing?!"
for an unknown reason, years back i started watching season 5 first. and after finishing season 5, i start watching season 1 for the first time. thought it was 2 different show. 🙃
They'd definitely look good together. But I loved their sibling dynamic and they destroyed it in season 5. And they never got the chance to fix it again, properly. 😭
I firmly believe Grant Ward was the biggest missed opportunity. If he was such a great character and then he turned. If they gave him a redemption arc in season 2 where he was allowed to work undercover for SHIELD under Hydra, it would have been amazing. I honestly think Ward was this shows biggest fumble.
