The sheer range of the Master's compositions is exemplified in the first 2 extracts...Acis and Galatea and Semele. Talk about extracting effect from contrasting style. Just stunning.
Handel's music is a miracle like the Egyptian pyramids, inexplicable, dressing that golden proportion of the aesthetics of all times! Believe me I know all the music of all time, but nothing more beautiful under the sun !!! someone in these times at this unique composer, so sophisticated and copied by everyone else! Even on Wagner or Mozart we find it ... I do not want to comment any more, for now!
