@@acethefiredragon8525 I don't believe in ghost and I often hang out at midnight alone in the wood or even cemetery (not 2 AM challenge lol just need a chill time) but still get nervous when I'm in Haunted house because Haunted house are designed to make people scared and so does horror game tho Im not so scared that I would scream or run like most of my friend. Lot of people are the same, and it could work the other way around too, just because you believe in ghost doesn't mean you are scared of it though you prob have higher chance of that
that freaked me out too, even in my own playthrough where i spent time paused minutes at a time (because i am a bitch) i never got her to speak in the pause menu
Fauna was so brave at the start. She slowly lost her sanity over the night haha. The ceiling guy freaked me out during Guras playthrough, but I didn't remember little billy in the corner... My heart spiked just like faunas... A split second is all it takes for me to nope out LOL
a lot of what makes the mortuary assistant so scary is its random chance events ! the roof person and person sitting in the corner are very random chance of happening and its incredibly clever imo
Fauna actually isn’t wrong about a lot of this stuff having medical explications. It’s why professional exorcists in the Catholic Church tend to either come from backgrounds with medical/psychological training or receive such training afterwards. Basically their first step is to determine if the person is actually suffering some kind of spiritual problem of their if just sick and need treatment of the more secular kind.
26:10 the spike of Fauna's HR from 86 straight to 162 is nothing short of impressive and concerning almost. I really want to hug both of them as they seem absolutely terrified by Billy.
Real talk tho, heightening heart rate correlates to actively caring about what you're saying (truth or lies), and goes hand-in-hand with anxiety about ensuring your view comes across well - especially when it's something so easily triggering as the concept of cynicism and the belief in the paranormal. She clearly does take umbridge with that disclaimer the devs put in, and is even tripping over her own words to get her own stance across, merging what sounds like a bit of rehersed viewpoints (which a lot of us have about a lot of things in life, stuff we tend to think over days/weeks/months etc that we think "I have to make sure I say this when I'm arguing about THIS subject or THAT subject). That, followed by the stream she just went through, and yeah, and she decides to cap it by being openly cynical over the paranormal would probably trigger herself somewhat. Especially when she isn't often confrontational.
I think if they reached the point were the pale demon would stant up in front of you the same one that kaela got bae could have run out of the shed screaming bloody murder 🤣🤣
I didn't realize Rebecca's voice can be heard in the pause menu in this game, LOL! This game is something else with the amounts of different jumpscares or creepy moments it has.
As someone who was in the occult, I can confirm the opening of the game with the text is true. Keep calm and stay out of terrifying situations and haunted areas as much as possible, and things cannot manifest.
I don't believe in ghosts and I often hang out pass midnight alone in the wood or even cemetery (not a 2 AM challenge lol just need a chill time) but still get nervous when I'm in a Haunted house because Haunted houses are designed to make people scared and so does horror game tho I'm not so scared that I would scream or run like most of my friend. Similar to how some music makes you feel unsettled and creepy, the fear of the dark, of the unknown is ingrained in us regardless of whether we believe there is something that could harm us exist or not, fortunately, it is something that we could overcome with enough training and exposure (in most cases anyway) A lot of people are the same, and it could work the other way around too, just because you believe in ghosts doesn't mean you are scared of them though you prob have a higher chance of that I used to be a huge scaredy cat and will not be able to sleep alone for days after watching a horror movie as a kid but now I realize the real horror is something we can see all along, ghost doesn't scare me anymore. edit: Great clip bro, really appreciate the detail
Bruh I'd love to see Fauna explain how my bed shaking like that scene in the Exorcist, scaring the shit out of me and my cat at the time, was the result of carbon monoxide 🤣
*Fauna the lucky one who has not seen or experience anything of the unexplained in her life.* *Me and my friends watching his phone just fly across the street for no reason.* 👀
It must be nice to not believe paranormal activity is real...😅. Once you experience anomalous phenomena in a manner that's completely undeniable no matter how hard you & others desperately try to find explanations (& especially when if it's frequent enough that multiple other ppl experience it including together) it becomes increasingly impossible to deny its existence. And yes, my ex gf & I had carbon monoxide alarms in our place for this exact reason as ourselves & others who experienced it while visiting us attempted to find explanations lol. That said I believe the phenomena is "natural" in the sense that it is just an aspect of our reality we haven't put enough energy into understanding during our modern times because it is an uncomfortable subject & culturally looking into it has a history of being looked down upon from both religious beliefs & academia. Unfortunately it is almost never repeatable, extremely rare in terms of where it occurs/frequency & more often than not very subtle so the scientific method is not the best approach at this time or won't be until someone creates a scientific approach where academics can obtain data within the proper boundaries of their method. Not plumbers or loud idiots using scientific instruments incorrectly or thinking every little pop must be a "ghost" or a "demon." Lol
I honestly hate people who say so firmly that something isn't real when there is no solid proof to support such claim. It just have such a condescending tone to it. Many things that humanity had consider as impossible in the past are now a part of our reality. This isn't just about ghost or paranormal, it can be about anything. Like one of my professors didn't believe that pink dolphin exist and tell people to stop believing in such a fantasy animal... well it exist buddy. Just because you haven't seen it or ever learn about it doesn't mean it not real. Many had "proven" the existence of ghost and many had also "disproven" their existence. Simply put, no one and I mean NO ONE actually know the exact truth or whether our perceive world is all that there is. So no one should be stating their opinion on such matter as if it was fact. On the topic of the game warning though... It definitely wrong to tell people to seek help from church, etc. Just like how people shouldn't immediately disregard paranormal... People also shouldn't be immediately resorting to paranormal and seeking "holy" help...
It's very simple I think: paranormal activity will happen if people go after it. There is the errant occasion where it happens unprompted but that's the exception not the rule. Long story short: the more you f*** around, the more you're gonna find out. Not to mention, if demons made themselves more publicly known, the side of God would also be proven true. Satan would keep it covert to avoid proving a war of angels and demons true.
Fauna's speech about ghosts not being real, while Bae is having none of it will forever be one of my favorites moments from this duo.
While Fauna is getting over 120 bpm and bae is just 90.

Yeah because corpses standing up and their faces melting off could totally have a medical explanation.
@@grafzeppelin4069 can you name a real life example of a corpse standing up and its face melting off?
