He's got my vote - I didn't renew my membership of the CP in February but have rejoined so I can vote for Jenrick. I believe he would be the best to lead our party

?? Unelectable.. People will remember his selling the social housing planning gain down the river to that developer for £12K..The conservatives can vote him in but he's not going to win the party any General Elections...

    Not just on immigration
    On transgenderism
    On the brainwashing in schools
    On everything

This is unwatchable. Why are they having so much pointless small talk. No one cares.

If he was one step behind the public in his journey, then he is not the one to be elected.

Liked his comment that migration was unplanned. Well he was part of the home office that was fine with 600k coming here last year? Another point we had 2-,300k foreign students coming here to study paying the full economic cost for their degrees. Already breached his 10s of thousands with just one category of mainly transitory migrants. If he's going to effectively ban most foreign students what are universities meant to do when home student fees haven't been raised in a decade.

The interviewer isn’t asking the right questions in my opinion. This is like listening to a group of people discussing a certain issue over a cup of tea.

Jenrick just seems like an opportunistic phony. I'm ready to give up on the Tories at this point. They just aren't credible.

Well spoken. Sound policies. We need strong leadership now more than ever. (World issues which could lead to a war). Security is a major problem.

Are they handling ethnic minority protesters differently, or handling protesters that don't set things on fire and throw bricks differently?
    Just asking questions.

No they aren't, that's just something the idiotic right wing ex Eton weirdo mummy boys say because the only thing that matters to them is their own racism and fear of everything in the world that isn't idiotically narrow mindedly "British" with a small x. Don't fall the right wing propaganda my friend. There are other politicians who exist who aren't reactionary weirdos and live in the actual real world where immigration is actually needed more to save us from the economic damage caused by brexit.

Be a long time before I vote Conservative again. I didn’t leave them, they left me. Get back to me when they want what’s best for the country, not what’s good for themselves and their benefactors.

Yes..I agree and Jenrick is never going to live down selling that social housing planning gain out for the £12K bung to the Conservative Party from that developer! Not all of us have such short memories..

Content goodish. Style of questioning somewhat gotcha. It's not a good idea to ask questions without enough time to respond. The Today programme on Radio 4 has already made an art form of that approach. Long interviews, by definition, could avoid such an idiotic approach.

At least Jenrick is engaging with public concerns but revoking visas, reducing legal migration, reducing asylum grant rates will never happen because he and his ideas are seen as too right wing by the establishment so he will be marginalised.

He's saying the police are not arresting violent criminals because of community relations.
    He's lost the plot.
I would have asked for examples......
